Hope you get DH's wages soon! How frustrating. Good luck with your claim too.
The lighter evenings help me be more motivated to do more instead of veg

Still no sign of wages, he did chase them yesterday so hopefully they'll put in an appearance this week.

Budget holding out though considering. Relaxing day yesterday getting some jobs done round the house, including a decent bit of knitting.

Must do meter readings shortly. Reserved some activities for a holiday we've booked in a few weeks last night so that was good to get sorted.

Off to reconcile my just for points cc and check YN@B

  • It's completely ridiculous that DH has to chase for his pay. Is it a small company that he works for?

It’s a small company lostmyusername. All sorted now 😃

quiet few days here, 1 spent on sofa not feeling the best. Thankful I am able to do that when I need to.

Much better today and normal service resumed. Big load of washing put on to do overnight.

Triaged fridge, frozen a couple of things. Still eating out of freezer too. Although food spends do seem high this month already!

Plan to relax this evening with DH and do some knitting.

Well done on the running. Still none here and am not sure if/when I’ll be able to restart. Might try just jeffing for a bit if I can’t run any sort of distance. Am going to pick up yoga again in the meantime to build some strength.

Have been thinking of things to do when then inevitable isolation occurs.

Yoga is one. I’m also going to get some paint so I can do some of the painting in the house that we haven’t got round to in the last few months.

I also need a few pairs of curtains so am planning on teaching myself to make them. I have a sewing machine and some basic skills. Would also like to make a seat topper thingy.

I’ve already ordered some wool so will be casting on some more socks when this pair is finished and aim to start knitting some Christmas presents and make use of the time productively.

Am still chasing a payment that I should be due, explained to them today that it was getting a bit tiresome being fobbed off daily. Will call again tomorrow and ask to speak to a manager.

DH has revived notification of a second P P I payout. Just need to print the forms off and send back. Will do that tomorrow. It all helps, particularly given the current climate. DH one income stream will take a hit until further notice. He is busy working on others but even so, there will be a gap for now.
