Aliliva - roll on Sunday for a NSD, and the start of some welcome time away from work.

MrsC...tobe - number 1 NSD in the bag! When planning your big shop, try looking at what you have in stock already that you can use in meals. (Sorry if that sounds like the bleeding obvious, you never know just how far someone is down the MSE road!)

I usually try to do this. Not good for lunches for me at work though as it's all things that we use for evening meals that we have in the house. I'm hopefully home for lunchtime today so will be trying to rattle something up. Old Mother Hubbard was never in it!!!

Gemgem - number 5 NSD noted, well done! Good idea re using half the box of hair colour, the important thing, as I am sure you know, is to leave the other half unmixed and only mix the components together when you are ready to use it.

Yes, I weigh out the exact grams on my scales. I only ever mix up what I need. Have been known for a box to last me three dyes. ( I only do every other dye. Hairdresser does the other one).

    Yesterday NSD no 6
    Worked from home again.

    Today NSD no 7

Was going to go to the gardening centre and buy several pots / planters. Then decided to dig up some garden instead. Spent two hours removing the grass and then turning the soil over. Over the weekend I am hoping to plant my black currant and strawberry plants and then plant my new raspberry plant in the pot.
Have also been patching up my old jeans. Wore a pair in the garden. It felt good to make do and mend and save some money.

    5/15 NSD Another quiet day.

I'm nuking pasta sauce to make a pasta bake. Freezers are so helpful when you don't want to cook and have meal components in them that are ready to use.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Good morning NSD gang, lots going on in Chateau Nargle this weekend, so I will hopefully sit down late tomorrow to catch up on the news and update our numbers. In the meantime, keep grabbing those NSDs!

Not planning on going out. Hubby is going to football. I'm going to have a couple of hour watching a film or a box set.
Have been busy washing all the floors in the house, as well as light switches and any glass lamps. Part way through hoovering the blinds. (Easier and less messy than washing them). Having a real spring clean this week. We have a busy couple of months coming up and I can't see any more deep cleaning happening until August.

    number 4 for me today!

    And the scores so far...

    39 NSDs from 15 of us....so average 2.6 NSDs each.....well done!

Yesterday we had friends round for dinner and as usual I catered for the five thousand so leftovers for dinner tomorrow. Not having them today because today we are having a takeaway.....for some strange reason I woke up today a whole year older....happens every year at this time, strange.......

Happy Birthday Nargleblast. Hope you are having a good day.

NSD no 9 been in the garden today. Repotting plants and putting other plants into the ground.

Also done the ironing and cooked roasted vegetables, chicken and chorizo.

Forgot to post yesterday. Today, with my husband back from his fishing trip, won't be a NSD.
His routine is to pick TA up after church and I'd have to blast him to smithereens to get him to stop. He's a good one though so I'll keep him!:D
