£468 x 3 is almost the same as £360 x 4. Give or take a bit of currency fluctuation or something.
I think Photome is right - the higher price is correct for three, but only if they were refunding one of the original booking.
A no show on the day seems to be the way to go - but don't forget you've paid for a fourth breakfast!0 -

The times you booked and agreed were fine, now they have changed them your friend can't make it and in fact the changes they are making are spoiling your break as you wanted to go as a foursome. Slight changes to flight times are really common.
OOh good thought. Thank you!0 -
i am confused
originally £360 per person and if one cancels it is £468 per person?.
That may make some kind of sense if they are refunding one of the original £360. if not just dont tell them
If a holiday, based on 4 sharing costs £1440 total and 4 people book it works out at £360 p.p. if only 3 book it's £480 p.p.
However as the £1440 has been paid it does seem wrong that the travel agent/tour operator is asking for the money again. Probably in their t&cs relating to cancellations but I would certainly be asking for a detailed explanation.
Reminds me of the child supplements applied to under occupancy of rooms as kids didn't count towards room occupancy, sometimes it was cheaper to book kids as adults to avoid the supplements.0 -

But the OP hasn't really explained exactly what the situation is after my confused post0 -

That usually only helps if the change is major, an hour or so time change won't get the OP anywhere.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
When you cancel someone off a booking the booking is then repriced based on the number of people still on it. If the room involved comes with a single occupancy charge then it will increase the price for the remaining traveller in that room.0

The full total has been paid ie each person has paid their £360.
In one room there will now only be one person but the full amount of £720 has been paid for that room.
The TA then wants to keep that amount but charge an extra £108 to each of the 3 remaining.
That to me isnt about a single room supplement as the full room cost has already been paid.
I really just dont understand the reasoning behind it.
If they can actually do this then a no show on the day will be the way to go.;)0
