NST April - SPRING INTO ACTION

Not a happy bunny tonight. DH CC that was settled in full in December has been racking up a £1 in interest over the last 3 months and is now showing in arrears on his credit file  I am annoyed because he has had a text every month since Feb advising that he needed to make a payment and didn't think to mention it to me  I hope this does not impact on our mortgage application, just when we have got our credit files perfect, I could cry
He will be ringing them tomorrow to see if they can reverse the bad mark and close the account. I have paid it UTD today.
Not a NSD today as DH was late in and he got a takeaway that he has put off for 3 days but gave in tonight.
Things that make me happy:
DS (5) coming home and asking to go on the computer on a maths website they had been shown at school and spending half an hour with him doing the exercises
A good chat with a favourite colleagueSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
Evening all. NSD today. Think that's 6, maybe 7. I have £30 left in bank but payday is two days away so I'm going to make it without dipping into overdraft. With luck.
My stores have taken a beating though. Think I mentioned the freezer fiasco. Like lots of others, I offer shop and buy bargains to fill up the freezer when I have cash and then towards the end of the month I use a lot of that up. I lost the lot early on in the month when a teen unplugged the freezer and it wasn't noticed for several days. So other stuff has been used more than normal. Ah well, I will restock over the next few months.

Hi everyone!
Another spend day for me today as it was colleague's leaving lunch. Only £4 though so nothing to break the bank.0 -
Sorry have not been on a few days as I was away at the funeral, was lovely to catch up with all the family despite the occasion. Didn't spend over what I'd taken from the emergency fund so happy with that.
Today has been a NSDLoan payment went out today so now have less than £2000 to go, 82.2% paid :j

erin sorry to hear about the car
and xspender hope your mortgage application goes through ok, I guess as you speak to a person first he can make a note on it in case it comes up?
another SFD today and swim and healthy lunch. finally nicer weather again (well before tomorrow's rain). Managed a second day of leaving my fingers alone but still had two ciggies last night - well, tackle one vice at the time.
Started some decluttering last night and sorted through a drawer of kids pictures, went through the desk and got rid of about 10 empty folders. Had a rake through the attic to see if I find my dad's stamp collection but no luck. There is a stamp dealer in town and I thought I get an evaluation, if I ever find it again. Saw loads of boxes in the attic that could do with sorting through. Maybe get one down a week and see if I find anything sellable too.
Not much else to report so far
Have a nice dayDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Morning all.
Yesterday was a spend day unfortunately but today won't!
2 things I'm grateful for;
- My morning coffee.
- This forum. Always provides a source of encouragement and support.0 -
Morning, sorry I did t check in yesterday. It was a spend day again, just a few more food bits I couldn't get the day before. However today I will be having a NSD.
Im also feeling poorly, got a really sore throat and I caught an ear piercing last night that has now swollen over night and is very painful not sure if the two are connected but I might get it looked at if I can get in the doctors today. I've put in some brand new studs after not having any earrings in for a while and two of them are fine but the other one hasn't taken. It's so sore.
Anyway onwards and upwards. All my accounts are looking healthy and we are planning to look at some cars in the next few weeks, at the moment we are relying on trains and lifts, we do need at least one car as my work will be taking me in quite rural areas, DH hates relying on the trains because 3 days running there has been delays and cancellations (one made national news) apparently he can claim for them. We seem to be coping pretty well so far and it certainly teaches you not to take things for granted.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j
