Spent £28.13 in Aldi and £1.49 in Farmfoods on Monday, mostly on restocking freezer (which I keep reminding myself is more efficient when it's full, and therefore it's justified getting lots of stuff and it's not just my hoarder tendencies....). Then spent £1.75 on apples and brie in Tesco yesterday, so a grand total of £31.37 so far. Need to pick up some bits tomorrow, but will hopefully have lower spends for the rest of the month now I'm stocked up.November GC: £50.55/£130. October GC: £72.60/£150
September GC: £131.27/£170. July GC: £62.48/£80. May GC: £135.00/£150
April GC: £201.91/£140. March GC: £194.98/£200. January GC: £111.41/£200.

Hi
Vet cost nearly £50!
£20 at local shop.
Having roof done next week. Dreading workmen about, but needs doing desperately. Got cash out today for it - rainy day savings for, well, if the roof falls in. So ok I guess. Will have to now try and replenish rainy day fund again! Hmmm.
Keep safe and warm
XMarch Budget : £600
April Budget: £ 5500 -
I think my budget works out at £2 for every 3 days so am still under £4 on the 6th = on track.
Aimed for a NSD however was visiting friends in the next city along and popped into their Asda to have a quick peek just before closing.
£1.86 on...
2 x smoothie mix (mint apple and cucumber)
2 x 6 toasting muffins
2 x 4 maple pancakes (not totally veganso slightly off the wagon there)
2 x 2 olive ciabatta
1 x chilli bread
2 x cauliflower rice
2 x morrocan casserole mix
1 x green soup mix
Could have bought 4 times as much but no room in the freezer!
The last 3 said not to freeze but damned if I can see anything in them I haven't frozen myself so I shall just nuke the hell out of them when reheating.
Most of it is in the freezer along with the loaf I bought on Monday that I haven't even started on. So I think I am ok for veg until a week Sunday, and ok for bread products til the end of the month. I may just need some soy/ coconut yogurts at some point. (I could make soy yogurt but it's never as tasty as nice SM ones.)
So brekkie tomorrow = smoothies, lunch = oat groat and kidney bean salad, dinner = dhal I think.
I just have to EAT MY BARGAINS before I buy any more.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -

56.88 spend in Tesco, I've done a meal plan until 18th so should only need to top up fruit and milk. When the kids go back to school there is one less lunch to worry about. I cant possibly go over budget this month so towards the end of the month I might be asking for tips on what to cook with what I have here. Actually next weeks shop might be better without the kids with me asking for treats.
