CSARINA - well, I'm waiting for a pic of the first thing you must have made by now!! How on earth did you stand the wait? It would have driven me bonkers! Anyway, have fun with it as I'm sure you will.

Dead right Mioliere, I did almost go stir crazy..............I have had a couple of goes with it, tomorrow will be my sewing day. I had to go with OH into town to get a new travel pass, what he has done with his wallet is a mystery, but of course now we have got a new pass he will remember what he did with the other one. Also got him a new wallet from the market, I am going to get an eyelet in it so we can attach a chain and link it onto his belt.

I have to find a home for the box which is ginormous.....its too big to go through the hole into the attic even broken down......I need to keep it incase it has to go back for any reason.

Right O am off to do something about supper, think it might be home made fish and chips.....might have another go with the machine later.........
September grocery budget........trying for £80, not sure if I will make it though!!!!! I certainly did not last month, lost track of the final bill. Will do better this month honest.

    Hello everyone

REDRUBY the IUS- intrauterine system is an IUD-intrauterine device by any other name. I have one myself even though I cannot take any kind of normal pill. Its also Known as the Mirena coil and there was a long thread on in the health forum about a year ago. I can't give you any medical advice here but i can tell you it has been very moneysaving for me as I have gone from heavy periods to none, saving me quite a bit each month. The Drs at the hospital will know much more about it than any GP as it is their specialist area. Whatever you decide, good luck- heavy periods are a real nuisance and can really wash you out.

Thnaks for advice, i will definately ask them tomorrow, no periods at all sound fantastic to me ;) , as you said its costs an absolute fortune each month,

    Sue

SMOKEY soooo sorry to hear you've been so badly messed about. Exacerbation is just Drs fancy word for "got worse"- they do like us to remember how important they are by using lots of big words. Hope its all sorted very soon.

Thank you. :D I did wonder what it meant.

Hopefully this is the link to the first embroidery on the new cutie baby......mind you I might have to re-name her, shes a bit bigger than a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Redruby: If you go back to Friday you will see the link to photobucket and a photograph of the machine I bought.

well dh was coming back from tesco with the kids and has been caught speeding:eek: his version - he was overtaking a car he was desperate to get away from as they kept on slowing down/going faster, overtook on a brae and didnt see the van where the man had the speed camera, as dh went past the man waved his fingers to dh to let him know he had been caught!

he said he was doing 65-70 on a 60mph road, i am not amused:mad:

anyway to top it off i am not feeling great, feeling dizzy etc

Hi, finally managed to find time to get on here!

    Big hugs to smokybabe.

Welcome back Crazychick, bet it feels like you've never been away!

Well my two returned to school yesterday Year 6 and Year 2 for them. I've changed my child care arrangements slightly and on the days I don't work, I'll be taking my friend's children to school as they are in the same years as my girls. She's going to collect the girls on the days she doesn't work and so I only need to pay the childminder for dropping them off 2 or 3 mornings. I should be about £60 a month better off, so that's going towards paying off the mortgage a little earlier (hopefully).:j

I've been quite busy over the past few days, shopping and doing school work for my return to school on Thursday. I'm going to go for a swim in the morning and then give the house a good clean. I haven't done much exercise over the past 6 weeks so I also need to lose some weight, around a stone. I don't like diets so I'm going to try cutting out crisps, cakes, chocolate, biscuits etc I'll just have the odd treat over the weekend and try to be good during the week and of couse get more active! I do walk the girls to school, Brownies, church etc and I'll try to go swimming or go to the gym twice each week.

I've got a pile of ironing to do so I'll do that in front of the tv. Have a good evening!

Just a quickie as I'm in the middle of making fruity flapjacks for the tadpoles lunches.

Had a good day today food wise. Have a bit of a headache but I was expecting it. I usually do when I'm going "cold turkey" as all the toxins and cr*p are comming out! Lovely thought to leave you with this evening. Feeling quite alot lighter , reakon I've lost at least two stone so far!:rotfl:
keep going gang, we are doing GREAT XX

D Tadpole is off to high school tomorrow and S tadpole in last year at primary. They go to a small village primary and have been in the same class. They get on like best friends so there will be tears tomorrow when they are separated. DT is having ST to a sleepover in her bedroom tonight to celebrate the end of the hols although they are both feeling v down and don't think it's anything to "celebrate". It's nice that they are so close but it does cause them alot of heartache!

Have a good night all ~ off to sew labels, yes I know you don't have to say it.............:rotfl:

    Evening all,

Got quite a bit of the clutter of paper cleared from my room...and found 3 things which can go into my gift cupboard. DD4 and I managed to move the rotten wardrobe, although getting it down the stairs was fun...it was so bad it started to fall asunder as soon as we moved it...gone to the back yard for further demolition by OH when he is mad at somebody!

Had fruit and porridge for breakfast, sausage, egg and beans (!) for lunch, stir fried beef with lots of veg and noodles for dinner...then I had a call from my brother who said that he had some nice kippers if I could use them to-morrow as he won't. Went down to him, when he opened the fridge he had 3 smoked mackerel, not kippers...so we sat down and ate them between us with a bottle of wine.....really great for my weight loss hopes...should starve to morrow to compensate...maybe just veg, fruit and water...can't see it somehow...

Csarina, congrats on the embroidery, machinery is wonderful these days.

Hugs to all and sleep tight to all the insomniacs

    Marie
