I was enthusiastic about until I put it in the oven and read that it was over a day's calories. I managed 20mins on the rebounder while it was cooking, but I'm just off to confess to MFP :o

:D Hope you enjoyed your curry Narc I had to confess to a trip to MrMcD's yesterday:o That's been happening far too often recently.

Good morning all. Have a lovely day whether you have a day off or not. I'm off to walk the beast in glorious sunshine before a trip to the gym and an afternoon of freezer stocking. I'll be working around a grumpy DH who has been told not to go in for his night shift after an upset tummy yesterday. He's feeling sorry for the poor doctor who is now covering for him. I will bake something nice for him to take in to the team tomorrow.

Morning all. Hope you're all ok.

Not a lot of flying done here this week due to the 'home improvements' which will go on for another week yet. Not just inside but outside too. So I now have more than a week off the paid stuff (which has also been manic) but will spend it decorating and organising workmen. I only have one day to myself to catch up with friends.

So far today, I have attempted to take the dogs for a walk but OldDog couldn't be bothered so we came back quite quickly and to keep out of the workmen's way, I have been planting seeds in the greenhouse.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes & congrats as wanted/needed to all.

I've been MIA as I got the urge to declutter my bedroom Wednesday afternoon. Then yesterday morning decided to just have a quick decluttering look through my DVDs and CDs which turned into sorting out the books and re-arranging them so DD now has 3 bookcases all to herself (except my books I was getting rid of but she wants to read) and then all mine are on another, and then the "office" space :o 500 items (I counted the individual sheets of paper :p) have left the house in the past 2 days and I now have boxes of stuff to get to the charity shop...somehow!

DD is home today, off to her dads tomorrow afternoon until some point on Monday, in school next week with a rewards trip on Tuesday after school (Trampolining apparently) but breaks up half day on Friday for 2 weeks. I'm working Monday, which means also working Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!

Plan for today is to go and do the weekly shop between Mr A & Mr Al grabbing Easter treats for the kids (guess who lost track of time this week :o), fly, and try to rehome all the boxed up charity shop stuff in my room as there's no way I can get it there today (especially as they're not clear on their opening times) and I need the space for work on Monday. :( Plus there's some items that need washing to freshen them up before I donate them so the dark load is about to go in the wash (light load is already done) and we'll fly while we wait for that to finish.

    This week:
Sort store card for DD to give to her friend to give to her mum (should have been done nearly 2 weeks ago :o)
Buy Easter treats for kids (5 needed)
Prep as much as possible before next weeks delivery
Get DD sorted for going away

Morning! Bright here, the calm before the storm I think, literally! So I have 1 load out on the whirligig and another in the washer.

Have replaced all clean clothes except a small pile for ironing and kiddies have picked up the paper. Kitchen is all clean except floor, but we have devil-child visiting later :p and hopefully they will all play out...

DD needs to move some books - she's set up a library now, lol. But it's mixed up her own books, with school books, and those I'd sorted for the chazza. Meh!

Just having a cuppa then will go help DS finish his easter bonnet :rotfl: and continue tidying :)

Have a good Friday everyone - ;) d'ya see what I did there? Lol

Greeting from the Land of Snot!!!

I've barely slept with coughing and snotting and the girls doing the same.

Glorious sunshinyness here so chillies being hoofed outside to get some vitamins!

OH being banished to bank and I'm going to fling some laundry about.. then I need to get the bags out and start packing for going to OH's mothers next Saturday.. it still seems a way off but it is going to take ALL week to get it packed I just know it!

Best go mediate the clothes finding upstairs before my house looks like it exploded!

Waving at everyone from the sofa.

DD2 is doing an exceptional job of looking after her impatient patient.

Did just about nothing yesterday, but did feel bright enough to make an appointment for the wedding dress fitting and to sort out my sick note issues... (I had forgotten until work reminded me! )

I am definitely less breathless after going up the stairs and my heart is much quieter - it was pounding quite a bit recently. So the top up seems to have done me some good.

Pleased to know that the extra blood is helping, CY, and that your future SiL is being well looked after too.

Hope you and your family all feel better by next weekend, pigpen. GWS vibes heading in your direction.

DH has gone to play trains today, so I am trying to get on with some more transcribing. It's sooooooooooo slow. The sun is shining and I would really rather be out in the garden, but I must do this. I can't even put the radio on to cheer me up because then I won't be able to hear the voices on the tape! :(

    Back to work...

Made me laugh! Reminds of me of when one of my neighbours would ring and ask if I would meet her little darling off the bus because she was running late. My kids would groan and everything valuable/breakable would have to be swiftly moved to safety. Of course I would smile sweetly at the neighbour and say any time you are stuck just let me know!!!

Dog walked, dog bathed after rolling in something very grim, bath liberally sprayed with bleach, it now needs a wipe down.

Lots of washing on the go, trying not to go a million miles an hour but I can see little jobs everywhere. DH at work, DS1 out with friends, DS2 shut away in his bedroom.

Healing vibes for Pigpen. Hugs to anyone who needs them. Off to potter a bit more.

3rd wash load in the machine finally (DD forgot to switch it on!), and I have scanned then boxed the equivalent of 5 crisp boxes of books/CDs/DVDs to see how much they're going for on bay of e. Quite a few will cost too much to list by the time postage & fees are taken into consideration due to their size/weight (Bigger than A4, hardbacked ones or really thick paperbacks) so I think I'll be hitting the local selling pages on fbook and see if I can shift some that way over the next week before I set DD on the task of listing them on the bay during the holidays ;) The battery has died on my phone so we'll have to stay home for another 2 hours-ish until thats done as all my portable chargers are flat :o

Just having some lunch then I'm going to kick DD into gear. She wants to dust the bedrooms so she can do that while I clean the bathroom. I can probably get another load of washing through the machine as well while waiting for my phone! DD also wants to clean the front of the house, and the back needs doing (peg on the nose job that!) so we'll have to see how much we can get done. Think I'll write my shopping list while I'm sat here...
