    Evening

I got rid of a load of books about 6 months ago, I agree they take up too much room, plus I hadn't touched them for many years.

LW that is a marathon but probably quite interesting and worthwhile task, especially if you manage to weed out duplicates and see the number of boxes reduced. However it would take me forever as I'd be tempted to read all of them as I went!

Well Mr N was a busy bee while I was swanning around in the gym doing Body Attack; he did a load of washing (yep it is washing day everywhere), hung it out, changed the bed and wudupa.
I picked up the lilies from the florist, thankfully they are the right size and the stems are not too tree-trunk like. I have got them, some white and pink lisianthus, some white mini carnations and assorted foliage conditioning in a bucket with some soaking oasis so I can be creative tomorrow. I'm always nervous of doing the lilies as they are so costly and beautiful.
Did a while in the garden this morning, lovely and sunny here.
Mr N dropped me at church for a lovely readings/meditations/Easter hymn service while he went to pick up MIL. We all had coffee in the garden and she managed to walk slowly down our garden with the aid of Mr N and a stick - our garden is about 200ft long so that is quite a feat for her. thought it would be an ideal day for frog-cuddling activities in the pond, but seemingly not.
I made a coating for the side of salmon of black pepper, fennel leaves (from the garden) and ground almonds which was yummy. Also made some mini raspberry shortcakes and some lemon polenta cakes for dessert and the weekend respectively. Discovered frozen smoothies in Mr T yesterday, lower calories than ice cream or cream and worked well in the shortcakes. Spent part of afternoon importing recipes into MFP which caused hilarity as it suggested "succotash" for sugar. Have put day's meals and exercise on MFP and it is going to let me have a piece of chocolate.......stopped sulking about last night's Indian.

Evening all, did any of you find the error on the list today? Gold star for those that did d667a6d1-1812-4843-9142-33b86e4dd13b.jpg

Still trying to get over this darn infection - just as I get rid of the hacking cough it has turned into a streaming cold. That's how it started.. Maybe it's going to go full circle.. :D

What a gorgeous day it was, I managed to get two loads of washing washed, dried and folded up to put away :D Not sure if I will get anymore done now as they are forecasting a carpe weekend for us here in Kent. :(

Feeling really pleased with myself as I actually picked up my cross stitch after being ill for 3 weeks, and I have almost finished it. Just got to put the backing material on it..to turn it to a cushion. Then give it to the willing recipient next week :D

    Evening all!

I did NO washing today :rotfl: See - I am special! :o

I bought a new printer, watched football, went to see Dad and ate Hot Cross Buns - not sure any of that is flying ..............

LW - you may have inspired me to sort my books! Maybe the pile that is currently on the floor will then find spaces on the shelves!

    Queenie - Welcome :D

bossy - you're sounding brighter :) Pleased to hear DS is enjoying his football and doing so well x

I've had the most glorious day in beautiful sunshine, surrounded by my kids and step-kids :smileyhea

We started at a reasonable time with mountains of sausage sandwiches, our lovely neighbour called round to ask if we wanted his help in the garden, so trees were felled, a huge bonfire made and lit (still warning of the invading armada now ) ate HM beef chilli, went to an outdoor adventure playground with DH's cousin and his little boy too, laughed until I cried when DSS fell in the stream and Cousin did the splits across a bank, ate pizza, ate cream and cherry dessert and flopped into bed...what a perfect day.

    'Night all xxx

    Morning all.

Still dry here and if it is a bit later I might try to pop out at a reasonable time and cut the grass.

First cuppa supped and I'm about to do a menu plan for the week. Today is dog walk, food shop, carpet shop and other bits, then home to carry on decorating (after buying a roller, the brush is too much like hard work).

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all :D

Up early this morning as I want to get to the shops before the rain starts. Mr Al doesn't open until 8am and I'm waiting on DD coming down after she had a shower (she's just drying her hair) I need to go there first so I can then send DD home with that shopping while I go and pick up the randoms from Mr A. If it wasn't for me needing dog treats I wouldn't be going to Mr A, but if my male friend is coming round to fix my light he needs long treats to bribe Zack into not biting him :o Depending on how wet it is (Zack hates the rain) I may walk up & meet my friend as Zacks okay with him outside the house, its when he crosses the threshhold that all hell breaks loose! :rotfl:

I still have some flying to do, but dusting/polishing has to wait as DD used half a can of polish on the bedrooms yesterday so I need to go out and buy more...think I'll buy 2 so this doesn't happen again!

DD did her ironing yesterday, and I only have 4 items in the pile so I'll do mine later or maybe tomorrow when I've done the laundry which has been added to the pile today :p

    This week:
Sort store card for DD to give to her friend to give to her mum (should
Prep as much as possible before next weeks delivery

    Morning All

I am in the process of cleaning my bathroom and the upvc windowsill is black from where it has held water under bottles of stuff. Any ideas - it's really stained!

Glad you're feeling a bit better CY.

Dizzyimp - that sounds like a lovely day!

Hope everyone is ok, you'll probably see more of me this coming week as I'm off work.

    Have a good day all
