  • Morning,

I had a complete day off yesterday, nothing done at all. So today, even though it's Easter Sunday, I am flying and hopefully doing some more decorating. Only problem is, the small people had us up at ridiculous hour to go and collect eggs, so I am pooped.
Going to have a nice hot bath to ease me into the day, then get on with stuff.
Hopefully also try out my new bike if the wind drops.
Have a good Sunday everyone x

    Hello all. Happy Easter.

Just decorating here today, haven't washed or taken the dogs out. Just want to get the painting done.

Quick break to have something to eat, then back to it.

Dogs!! I went out to poo-pick the garden this morning; Jack followed me out. Just as I thought "great, there's no poo to shift today", he produced a ruddy great pile of it! I swear he was smirking at me! :rotfl:

Anyways, we had a lovely walkies, met Lily and Honey, two little Cavalier King Charles Spaniels; Jack was really good while they sniffed him and generally made a big fuss of him.:o

Bathroom has been blitzed by Mr LW :A and the plan is to crack on with the bookshelves for a couple of hours. It's taking ages, as a lot of the books are misfiled as well as dusty, but I think we've made fairly good progress thus far, all things considered.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Not a single square of chocolate to be seen in here.. Not even a mini egg. I'd rather get nothing for Valentines day and a ruddy great easter egg!!

Anyway.. 1 load of washing done as that was all I had.. 3 loads on the line, kitchen swept and rejigged and looking very empty!! It has been full of crap for weeks and is now, not!

Afternoon all. All emulsioning now done, old carpet up. Just glossing to do tomorrow. But I can hardly move even after a soak in the bath.

No Easter eggs here. I was only going to get one/some if the shop didn't sell out, but it did, so there.

    Eating fudge instead.

If it stops raining I will walk the dogs and then think about cooking tea instead of a takeaway yet again.

Ds1 dropped at the station. Hopefully no more shocking calls this term.

    LR henried
    Boys' room dusted and dysoned
    2 loads washing done
    Weather and cold both rubbish

2 mini galaxy eggs for me. Shop had run out.
Ds2 has 3 nut free ones. They will last a while.

    Dinner is in the oven

    Happy Easter to all celebrating.
Mr N and I burst out laughing when we exchanged eggs; we had got each other the same one! we do that quite a lot with cards, even both got each other an almost identical watch one year, when neither of us had 'asked' for one.

Decided I would rather go to the busier, more sociable Easter service at 11am instead of the sunrise one although I spent all evening deliberating as I do like that one. Having decided, of course I woke up hourly throughout the night and probably saw the sunrise anyway. However it was nice to be in the church and look at all the flowers again (not all mine I hasten to add).

Watched boat race on TV while eating chocolate. Roast in oven, Mr N gone to collect MIL so I've done 25 mins on the rebounder which doesn't exactly match all the easter egg calories, sigh. Will be trying on/sorting/piling clothes for holiday tomorrow so I'll see what damage has been done........
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
