  to CY and the invalid.
I have done some more transcribing this morning, set up my Easter tree, and am now tidying the study (gross )before DH and I blitz all through the house. Everything else is tidy, and most of the bins have already been emptied, so it shouldn't take long.
It has been raining quite heavily here so I will not be attempting to mow the lawn today0 -
Woke up really early, promptly went back to sleep then overslept so mad panic to arrange church lilies and get down there in case anyone had come to help and was waiting for me to come with the key. No need as 2 people with keys had already been, and another arrived while I was there. Reasonably pleased with my lilies though I find them very scary to do. May post photo later on if I feel brave.
Did a while in the garden but it is much colder and intermittently drizzly so not very pleasant.
Finished drizzling lemon syrup into lemon polenta cakes, cut up flakes to make a 'nest' and put a mini choc egg in each one. We had one cake each for lunch so yah boo sucks to MFP.
Mr N has gone round to see his mum, with food, so I am theoretically working. So far I have deleted 50+ old emails, addressed some surveys to go and amended a template. Update MFP next then I really will finish a report.
Birdies alert - had a huge great red spotted woodpecker on the feeder this morning, stayed a long time which is unusual, so managed to get a photo of it. Beautiful. Mr N said he saw it yesterday as well. And our 2 local fairies keep returning each day (although are very wary of the woodpecker).Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Hi all
LW DS1 would mow your lawn but I wouldnt trust him with the weeding!
2 freezers defrosted, lots of paperwork sorted, everyone fed, kitchen tidied, washing dried and put away. Quite a lot achieved. Looks like they are all settling down to watch footie so I might read my book.0 -
Hi ladies
Another day in Dizzy paradise with the morning spent clambering in, on, through and across trees at Go Ape! Secretly rather glad I did the Junior version with Small, who is only a metre tall, as that course tested my courage enough! The skids and DH did the treetops challenge _pale_ while I took Small and Tiny on a woodland walk. Exactly how many shiny stones, random pine cones and odd-shaped sticks is it OK to stuff in pockets? Tiny says all to be found in the forest, obviously...
Garlic mussels for tea and another bubble bath to ease tired and aching muscles, so muscled-out (*groan)...DH and the older two watching the England v Germany footie and two smaller people snoring in bed, recharging.
Swimming in the morning and then an afternoon of chocolate scoffing planned for tomorrow. I will be [STRIKE]knackered[/STRIKE] a little tired by the end of the Easter holibobs!0 -
Evening - another lazy day here
I did go shopping and also got some bits Dad needed so dropped them round to him. Caught up on various tv (am beginning to think I may have a crime series addiction!!) and ate some chocolate. Lots of rain here today

No thanks - you can keep them! I didn't say I didn't HAVE any washing, just that I didn't DO any! :rotfl:

Sorry I've been awol again. I am struggling to keep up. Although I have been reading the thread while feeding my little miss! I feel like I'm struggling to keep my head above water . I just get one room sorted and then the boys and OH seem to trash it! I have sold a few items on gumtree and hopefully somebody will come and pick up the old table soon! So less clutter around! Tonight I sorted all the Easter stuff ready for the morning!

Happy Easter to all celebrating.
We have a lovely clean and tidy house, and have changed all the clocks that are not radio controlled and therefore - in theory at least - ought to move forward an hour automatically. We shall see!
Bedtime now, and I won't be staying up any longer than necessary.
Chocolate at the ready for breakfast!0 -
Can't sleep, strange as I was up fairly early and have been busy. It's technically almost 1am so I really need to switch this off and settle down.
Night all. :easter:0 -
Morning
Lunch made for work, they are excpeting it to be a slow day, so we will see.
Tons of rain dumped on us last night, today seems a bit brighter and the sun is currently out.
