Mrs-mp, idleness is a word that I would never ever associate with you!
I, on the other hand, have achieved very little so far this week. The house is still mostly tidy (except for the kitchen table and my study) so hopefully it won't take too long to clean when I do finally get round to doing that. I have done 5MI this morning (a top, and two lengths of fabric which are now ready to put away in the resource box, once I have corrected the mistakes in the relevant course leader's notes). The lawn is still a mess. We are going out all day (meeting up with DS2 for coffee) and I'm singing this evening. Not much chance of anything else getting done, then
CY, enjoy your sofa day guilt-free.
Natty, I hope you managed to get some sleep and are feeling a bit better this morning.
Dizzy Imp, I have to laugh at your showers with small people - I remember well the trials and tribulations of getting a few moments alone in the loo when I had 4 LOs at home.
Belated Happy Anniversary for yesterday, Pigpen :j and well done to Squeak on her 100% attendance :T
Narc0, I am giving the sunrise service a miss this year - anyway, I shall be singing late on Saturday and again on Sunday morning, so doubt that I shall have the energy for a hill climb before breakfast as well, after one hour less sleep.
(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round x (with an extra hug for Dancemum)0 -
Bonnets sorted and a little easter basket for her "boyfriend" :eek:cyclingyorkie wrote: »Waves to all in thread...
I have an extra 2 units of blood inside me and I do feel a lot better and brighter in myself.
Looking forward to tomorrow. I have been to the hospital every day so far this week, so hoping for a proper sofa day tomorrow.
Lovely to hear that you've got good news to share, CY. I hope you thoroughly enjoy your sofa day.Ooh.. 7 years toda since cf finally left!!!
Best day of my life and I nearly forgot!
A belated very happy anniversary!
Hugs, Dusty, and I hope you're feeling better.
Mumof2, I hope your Easter is a postive turning point.
Ionafan, Narco and Mrs MP, I honestly don't know how you do it. All of you seem to have endless energy but I know that mostly it's just head down and getting on with it. *admiration*
Struggling to keep up here. Easter dust bunnies are breeding so I'll get on their case today and also give the kitchen floor a swish. It really needs it. My bete noir used to be the vacuumming but now we've got a stick cleaner that only does 20 minutes I find myself running it around the bits that get scruffy fairly frequently.Better is good enough.0 -
Pottering here - have found the swim stuff for hols. And put DS clothes in a bag for MIL, since We only paid for a case per adult. DDS clothes have gone to my mum. Lol.
Really need to do a meal plan and go buy some food. No idea what we're going to eat over the next few days... Meh!
Done some admin though - and sent an email to work with a pic of my sick notes, and an email to the pension people about putting some redundancy pay into my pot - since I probably won't start a new pension for a few years.
Have got a rough idea of budget for new kitchen, and other stuff that will be attended to this summer.
Right! Meal plan!Bossymoo

Golly, I'm certainly not worthy to be classed with those two hard workers - I'm a sloth who occasionally scampers to catch up.
I did manage to catch up on some sleep last night (and 2 episodes of Night Manager), and it was lovely to have a leisurely start this morning. so all I've achieved is:
- one load washing on line (cue for rain while I'm at work), another in the machine
- 1 basket of dry clothes folded and put away
- watered seeds in greenhouse after decanting yukky drowned snail from my watering can
- bird feeders filled
-paperwork got organised and labelled for this afternoon's assessment.
So that isn't much, I did manage to put a few stray cups and my breakfast bowl in the DW but now I'm clutching at straws finding something else to say I've done.
Anyway I'm now having an early ham roll so I can set off for uni, hoping there isn't the traffic chaos of the last couple of days. Will doubtless stop and pick up a C0sta on the waybut need to go to Mr T on the way home
Glad you feel a bit better CYRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Very slow today, in fact this week has been a write off. However last night had a talk to family about something that is worrying me and feel a bit lighter. So this morning have emptied a kitchen cupboard. Need to clean, sort and put back.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
