AS I say earlier, quiet eh?
    The silence is deafening.

I like this from the Daily Record:

    See that; "political earthquake".
I can't wait to see what spin our pro-SNP contingent put on this.

I can tell you right now:

"They're local elections fought on local issues."

Completely disregarding their statements that the Conservatives are hated in Scotland...

    Oops.

Does anyone notice how quiet this thread is now that it is known that Labour has lost control of Glasgow and across the board the Tories seem to be making gains in Scotland?

I wonder why it's so quiet?
Some of us work, have commitments and in my case also a panicking 15 year old about to take his first National 5 exam ( Maths ) which seemed somehow more important.

Council elections. STV.. SNP seem to be holding steady. I don't confess to understand how STV works but its quite obvious what's happening ( at this point in time ). +30, -30.. Oh dear Labour..

It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

South Ayrshire ? I think you need to do a little research on that particular area. There's always been a strong Tory vote there.

Hey, I'm only quoting the Daily Record - tell them, not me.
And it was Ayr West BTW.

    But unlike Clackmannanshire then?
    Or Fergulsie Park?
Or (which one to choose next?) ......;)

We are now getting towards the 10k posts 'limit' on threads on MSE you were gullible enough to believe before Shakey...what you gonna do now? Start another thread on this? Makes me think that you are not really an analytical/thinking/questioning person. I suspect you've got one of these little spin toys that keeps you amused!

Neither. I'm just going to put you back on ignore for being pointless. :)

It is quiet because the snp are now realising how stupid they are and can't take the backlash

    Come on Ruth and Theresa

    What are you talking about?
The SNP are not taking a beating in these elections.

Labour are being ditched in favour of Conservatives is the general picture.

I need to read up more on the council election rules, as each ward appears to be set up so that there is a split of representation.

It's not very reflective of what the GE will be
