Yep 'cos that's what Scotland's all about. :D

The cliches always seem to cross the Tweed in one direction. Don't see any disparaging remarks of Morris dancing or eating eccles cakes coming south, and nor should there be. Funny how cross-border sneering's so assymetrical.

The only time up to now that Gordon Brown has been right about anything is when he kept the UK out of the euro. Now he's right about something else:

NS would do well to listen to something other than the sound of her own voice for once in her life.

This video is worth a giggle. It would appear that Scottish Independence is now the second choice and it is all about staying in the EU.

SNP's Eilidh Whiteford being interviewed on Channel 4

So what do the SNP want? (I know the rest of us know the answer but they really are tying themselves in knots now)

Someone else's money. That's all they ever want. They remind me of the beggars that hustle me for cash outside my local supermarket.

Hague's in full panic mode as well. Scots voters elected a majority of pro-indy's msp's at Holyrood. That's how representative democracy works. Kevin's howling at the moon with stats which mean nothing much.

There's now no stopping the vote next week on the referendum bill (seeking a section 30) being passed by Holyrood. At which point it ceases being just an SNP policy/manifesto commitment and begins life as the democratic will of the Scottish parliament by its elected representatives.

Hague has no stats to prevent it.
Hague has a perfectly good valid point.

The SNP/Sturgeon claim to have a mandate for a new independence referendum is based on a lie, which misled people who voted for the SNP believing that they were not voting for another referendum.

Every time Sturgeon utters the word "Mandate" in this context she is continuing that con.

Scotland's trade with the rest of the UK continues to be worth four times more than its exports to the EU, according to Scottish government figures.
The latest Export Statistics Scotland data showed the country sold £49.8bn to the rest of the UK in 2015 - £2.1bn more than the previous year.
Exports to the EU rose by £520m to a total of £12.3bn.

Your £12.3Bn trade with EU will be fine after independence. Good luck with paying tariffs on the £50Bn you sell to rUK.

Talk about a bad hair day.

Who are you expecting to pay for this referendum? Londoners paid for the last one. Scots should start paying for this waste of time and money.

We've already debunked this as a lot travels South of the border before being shipped to Europe.
The whole thing is that change is needed and we will never gain our self respect under a system where we are in the top 2 or 3 contributing regions but accused of spending the Souths money.
