    No you wouldn't.

When it comes to voting on EU matters, you Scots are lukewarm. A third of you can't be bothered.

It's just the SNP pretending that the EU is important to the Scottish psyche. It was clearly far more important to Londoners.

Yes, I would. And I know others would too.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

You've said this on a number of occasions. The EU isn't going to say anything. There's no grounds for any formal collective discussion with Scotland.

If the EU said something to Scotland, they would obviously have to provide a briefing room for Catalonia, and all the other potentially independent regions in the EU. Euro chaos indeed!

They all have a vested interest, if you accept that Brexit involves UK and EU.

You are of course right. The EU politicians will do what they often do, and try and do much of their dealings behind closed doors. EU politicians like Juncker are not big fans of citizen input.

I think Nicola S should consider espionage.. :)

Yes I have said on a number of occasions. You haven't given any credible reason or grounds so far on why the EU wouldn't want to have any formal discussion with Scotland. Apart from 'reasons'.

    Could you elaborate maybe ?

Still sticking with the same tired old 2014 Spain thing then. Scotland's situation is nothing like the Catalonia one.

Courtesy of the Telegraph, PM May said this ...

"On the key question of whether Britain will have access to the Single Market, or membership of it - two very different things - Mrs May is still fudging.

She said that she wanted Britain to be free to trade "with and within" the single market, which neatly covers both bases."

There you have it...it sounds like a fine blend of speciality EuroFudge. How do you define hard/soft Brexit when we could end up with our own unique version of "with and within" the Single Market ?

That sounds like a form of access to the SM to me. Nicola S will be pleased :)

    She wants immigration devolved too.

You have been given reasons many times:

    Just one is enough:

Scotland is part of the UK until the UK agrees it is not or agrees that Scotland will become separated. The EU will not meddle in another country's internal affairs and for that reason will not discuss anything of substance with the SNP until that time.
    Union, not Disunion

Brexit has forced the SNP's hand. And in all honestly, if the SNP had shrugged their shoulders and said 'ah well' that's us out of the EU. It is likely that if another party had stood up and said 'no way, let's make sure we stay in the EU/Single market'... that a good million or so Scots voters would just be voting for them instead. I know I would be considering it ( after cutting up my SNP membership card ).

are you saying that before brexit the SNP had formally abandoned their wish for Iscotland?
    total bananas

whether we leave EU or not, Nicola will only move if the polls show the 60ish %
the ONLY issue is the TACTICAL issue and the ONLY PROBLEM is how to manipulate the scots to poll around 60%
Nicola is making a big mistake by continuing to lie about the currency issue: she will find out in time

The EU consists of National Governments. (Though Spain hasn't had one for 10 months). So the suggestion is total rubbish. The only resulting chaos will be when people realise how much they've been mislead.

    what an infantile comment

there are about 9 million immigrants within the UK at the moment
EVERY SINGLE one of them is free to move to scotland right now.

They don't go to scotland from choice.
