NOT that I am a supporter of Ms Hopkins but here she does give a very insightful response.Katie_Hopkins wrote:Can you imagine trying to get divorced from Nicola Sturgeon?
Trying to extricate yourself from the Ginger Dwarf from the North would be the second biggest mistake of your life, after marrying her in the first place.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

No wonder the Scots are looking to extricate themselves from this vile, arrogant, xenophobic little england.
one can see the point of anyone wanting to get away from mayo's idiot rantings0 -
...
Stuegeon is entitled to express whatever opinion she likes on issues such as EU membership, but neither she nor the Scottish parliament has any role to play in the Brexit negotiations
Sturgeon is essentially hamstrung because she heads up a party which is openly not committed to the Union.
She can't be central to UK-wide negotiations, because she does not share the common long term interests.
It would be better if the Scottish parliament nominated someone independent from SNP/Scottish conservatives/Labour/Green etc to speak on behalf of ALL Scots when it came to their Brexit input.0 -

I was more pointing to the EFTA points made to be honest. Any thoughts on that ? I don't think you'll get much joy from Hopkins there.
No response to that, other than unsubstantiated derision then?
Quelle surprise.
EFTA?
Look, anyone can make whatever point regarding this that they want BUT the likeliest fact is that - even if it DOES happen - it won't happen until AFTER Brexit has been completed.
It is so popular amongst Scots that even it's Facebook page (Scotland in EFTA) hasn't been posted-on for over three years!
So commenting upon straw-clutching ........... is,well, pointless TBH.0 -

Nope, the majority of us are not seeking that.
I don't agree with your assessment of England either.
Remember, a handful of posters here, plus a loudmouth politician DO NOT represent the views of most Scottish people0 -

She can't be central to UK-wide negotiations, because we have a UK government and parliament that has the sole responsibility for such things.....It would be better if the Scottish parliament nominated someone independent from SNP/Scottish conservatives/Labour/Green etc to speak on behalf of ALL Scots when it came to their Brexit input.
Any body can have 'input' to the negotiations. No doubt there will be 'consultations'. But the idea that Scotland (for example) has some kind of veto over Brexit, or is capable of some kind of separate deal is pure nonsense.0 -

It won't happen until AFTER independence has been completed.
And only then if EFTA was interested.0 -
I've quite fancied the EFTA position for Scotland for a few years myself ... would be nice if it happened ... after indy of course0

Well I,m sorry to disappoint you.
But we voted overwhelmingly to remain in the union.
The 2014 once in a lifetime referendum is being expunged from history by the sore nationalist losers.
Anti democratic about the Scottish union referendum and anti democratic about the UK Brexit referendum.
I think we are getting close to a position where the Scottish parliament should be suspended until the Brexit negotiations are concluded.Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind. - Albert Einstein.
“The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them.”-
