Looks like the survey has been interesting enough for a few people to fill out ... wonder what the results look like currently0 -
It is, of course, monstrous that EU Nationals should get to vote on matters affecting either the UK or Scotland.
This was challenged before but fizzled out for some reason, so this question is to the Unionists here : is there any action in Scotland to stop this outrage?
Come to that, is there any activity in Scotland to allow Scots in the rest of the UK to vote?
If there is not, then there should be, in my opinion.
Ermmmmm I think Scottish people are EU nationals ?
And as far as indy goes it should be anyone living in Scotland that gets a say0 -

1st sentence - Don't be ridiculous.
2nd sentence - rubbish - the voters should be Scots themselves, Brits at a stretch but not people who have no allegiance to any part of the UK.Union, not Disunion
I have a Right Wing and a Left Wing.

So Scottish people are not EU nationals then ? Hmmmm see I was under the assumption that being part if the EU made you an EU national
And why shouldn't people from other countries living in Scotland get a say in the direction their adopted country takes ? If it is only to be Scottish people it would've been yes first time round, but even I wouldn't have agreed with that0 -

You are still talking rubbish but actually I addressed my question to Unionists and am interested in their response.Union, not Disunion

How exactly am I talking rubbish ... are you telling me that those people born in Scotland are not EU nationals ?
How about those people born in Scotland living in Spain ? Are they EU nationals ?
And why shouldn't the people living in a country get a say in independence?
Saying I'm talking rubbish is to me just because you know I'm right ... but that's OK ... we both know I am anyway0 -
Where does it say please unionists only answer in your original question ?0

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
Yes Shakey, I know the concept but do not go along with it at all. I lived in Nl for over 30 years and had a right to vote in their local elections (but not their national elections). I never voted however because I held strongly to the view that they way they ran their affairs was up to them, not me. Had I married a Dutch woman or had Dutch children I might have taken a different view (hence my remark above about Brita), but I lived there to work, not become Dutch
So I speak from conviction and my own actions on this.
I already know the self-party interest driving the EU vote and Sturgeon's attempt to woo them, so I am interested in the Union Opinion on this and, note, the inclusion of all Scots in the UK in any Referendum.Union, not Disunion
I have a Right Wing and a Left Wing.
