It does look like in a way May isn't telling us what she wants so that when she doesn't get it she won't look as bad ... save face so to speak0

I don't barter ... I refuse to .. walk away if I am not happy
Just like the SNP then?

It could be that.
None of us know the reason why May didn't answer. Angus knew she couldn't/wouldn't answer. In his position of course I would do the same. Knowing it would trap her into an uncomfortable position, but the way she handled it was pretty good.0 -

Can you answer the question?
I think it's highly probable, that once Article 50 is triggered and rUK is leaving for 100% true, definite, really really, no second referendum, no parliamentary vote blah blah. That the EU will announce it's position re an independent Scotland. I also think that it's highly improbable that their position will be to tell Scotland they can't remain in the EU. I do not know what the deal would be.
I could be wrong but Sturgeon seems very confident in pushing the EU position for someone expecting to be told to get tae after risking calling another ref in order to stay in.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

surely Nicola has a detailed plan for when article 50 is enaacted:
has she tod the scottish people EXACTLY what it is : she has had almost 3 months to work it out : she looks a fool for not announcing it.0 -

I couldn't care less where the tweet came from, it was the substance of the tweet which May was using to attack Corbyn, because he's ruining Labour. Which is a travesty for the UK's political system, I will say Angus Robertson has more credit with me than Jeremy Corbyn. But on this occasion May certainly didn't get shamed. What Angus did was like asking a loaded question.
i.e.
"It's been proven that good and righteous Scottish nationalists such as you like banana splits, do you like banana splits?"
May either didn't have a plan, or she did have a plan and couldn't share it, so either way he was setting her up to fail. But her retort regarding the importance of the UK to Scotland versus that of the EU certainly put him in his place if you're aware of the situation, which I'm certain you are.
She doesn't have a plan Tricky. Whatever she does will unleash a huge backlash somewhere. Be it Scotland, NI, Gibraltar, Spain, staying in the Single Market, leaving the Single market, FOM, no FOM. All of which is all before we even add the EU into the mix for negotiations. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

You don't even know yet what you voted for nearly three months ago.. in the past.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

It's Prime Ministers QUESTIONS. Are you expecting that MP's from other parties will just ask her easy ones ? And whatever May was doing it certainly wasn't being seen to put Robertson in his place ( whatever that is supposed to mean ). Most reports of PMQ's today are of a) Corbyn not asking any hard hitting questions and b ) have May waffling and not answering them when she was.

These are just opinions though. The facts are, she was asked an impossible question under the circumstances and retorted well. None of us know if she has a plan or not. That's the truth.
I couldn't care less what Corbyn says I'm afraid. I knew everything I needed to know about him when there was a video clip of him singing communist songs, in a bar with communist paraphernalia all around after initially winning the labour leadership.
And as I'd said before, Angus was right to ask the question, that's what Corbyn should have been doing. I don't listen to the commentators, I found that her retort was based in fact and put the question on the single market and Scotland into its correct perspective.0
