I'm not sure I'd want to head off to any dystopian system / country - even though I rather like Scotland, and lived there for some years. Utopia would be my preference, but those are a bit hard to find these days ;)

Of course they are. The problem is that no one wants to go there.
I take it you have never been to Orkney.... :-)

I have but wouldn’t fancy living there. Do you know that its population is less than it was in the 1801 census?

No I didn’t. I would move in a minute. My favourite place, but as said in ‘Local Hero’, “...you can’t eat scenery....”. Like other islands it does attract those wishing a quieter lifestyle.

Name me the First Minister and leader of the SNP who stated 'judge me on education'? If she had any integrity she'd resign given the recently released Scottish education results.

  • Is this a clear sign that Cherry is after the FM job? Any other reason why a sitting MP would want to be an MSP?

The Scots yearn and hunger for independence. If Sturgeon will not give it to them, she will be replaced!

Perhaps? But I find that there still not a majority for that and that most of the people only vote snp because there are no other party's viable. Scots do not like Tories and the Labour party have fallen into dire time's both in Scotland and the rest of the UK.
