Where is the evidence Sturgeon gives a flying proverbial about "her people"?

I can't see it for sure. Her main ambition seems to be to trample over the rUK. What she doesn't realise is that she needs the rUK.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • Maybe Sturgeon should start concentrating on her people rather than her personal desire for independence.

The first part of your quote contradicts the part above

The Scottish Government have requested drug laws to be devolved (or trying to deal with the problem) but have been refused by London
    baldly going on...

Are the drugs laws the issue, if the deaths in rUK are so much less?
The health service is a devolved issue in Scotland, so treatment should be within the SNP's remit.

Waiting to hear if the way figures are collected and reported are the same but no matter what, these are certainly bad news. One drug death is too many, families are destroyed.

apparently tly no they are not the same ... I imagine stabbings would be though and I think maybe England has a worse issue with that than Scotland, one death is one too many either of drugs or stabbings..
