hearing rumours that the Tories are totally bricking it, a FOI wasrequested about the latest polling regarding indy ref and was refused ... Rumours from alleged inside sources say it was shown to be 72% in favour for indy.

Allegedly Mrs May is now re looking at the devolution settlement

Bring it on. Can the UK vote as well. You might be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

I am pretty sure if the rUK had been allowed to vote before you would have been out on your ear.

Suspect that far greater issues are going to come to the fore. Storm clouds remain on the horizon.

Why vote people like myself out of the UK?

Most scottish people have gladly contributed to the UK economy.

Most of us aren't responsible for the type of anti-UK stuff that's posted here nor the people who post it.

There are probably people in your neck of the woods that are grudge ridden, anti-establishment, never happy complainers....they just don't have the vehicle of nationalism to hitch their "cause" to.

Tarring all Scots with the nationalist brush is the whole point of SNP tactics; they know a majority of Scots will never vote for Indy, so are happy to engineer the sentiment expressed in your post so that rUK voters care less about the union.

Hold whatever view you feel comfortable with regarding Scotland remaining in the union; it's a shame if that opinion is at all influenced by the tripe (which is pure propaganda from a well known SNP official) posted here.

Perhaps a vote for independence is what's required. As Brexit has shown. Divorce is a tortuous and long winded process. Splitting Scotland away poses a lot more fundamental questions. Then the current crop of politicians may be found out for what they really are.

Apparently a lord of the rings prequel which was due to be filmed in Scotland has been cancelled due to brexit.

Nationalist Smeagols said to be highly disappointed due to losing the opportunity for them to gather in ratty flats with fag butts scattered on the floor while hissing, "independences my precious. They's robbed us if it. The Englishes!"

Ah wait they do that already. No change then.

    We had one! :)

Trouble is, the losing side keep agitating for another....and will keep doing ad infinitum in the hope of eventually winning one.

People who actually are straining at the leash to vote themselves poorer....all because that nasty WM government give them more money than any other region of the UK, helping them be less poor!!

    Sounds bonkers?

    You bet it is :)

Seems to apply to anything these days. Don't get the right result. Contest the issue. Money buys influence. Life has been too comfortable for too long. Though Central Banks are pretty much out of ammo. Japanese style stagnation edges closer and closer. As demographics take grip.
