Of course it had loads - they were shipping them in from Glasgow.

The newspapers are saying 5000 - I wonder how many actually made it

doesn't take it away from the fact that it had more than the No march in the city ..

I'm sure Glasgow would be easier to get to for the masses of no supporters

but let's also wait and see if Ruth condemns the behaviour, she is awfy quick to insist Sturgeon does for the yes supporters even though there may not be proof they are SNP

I'm sure the vast majority of ordinary people have better and more constructive things to do with their time. Standing around around with like minded people does little more than reinforce an existing insular held view.

oh I agree and so do many many many yes supporters which is why we dont attend marches . imagine if we did

but were still much bigger in our smallest turnout than the No marchers... and a large portion of them have this marching malarkey in their veins

A tiny, tiny fraction of the 56% who voted NO because they thought independence was a truly awful idea will have "this marching malarky in their veins".

Neither will they necessarily regard themselves as "unionist", "tories" or any other descriptive label you might want to use to denigrate or minimise their logical and majority held opinion that the type of constitutional change you support would destroy Scotland.

TBH, you sound a bit caught up in the whole marching/ sectarian/tribal aspect of scottish politics.....it's only ever really considered in small pockets of the west coast; the rest of Scotland find it all a bit laughable.

The above paragraph is an observation rather than a criticism BTW, in case you feel "offended". :)

He's doing wonders for Remain as well :-)

Not great news for the Nats though. I understand Brexit is one in a rather complicated sequence of castles in the air that need to be in place for Indy to happen.

Trump likes to stir things up. Thought his put down of Corbyn was class.

While Americans speak the same language. They are culturally different and hold many different views to us Europeans. Worth remembering before getting over excited.
