Discussing the allegations on FIVE separate occasions shows a distinct lack of judgement by the witch on a stick...this kills any chance of the SNP winning a second referendum any time soon0

The next referendum, when it comes, won't be about the SNP.
It'll be about Scotland's place in the EU.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

This is the weird thing I see with Scotland.
IF there is a second vote (the UK government has to agree to it and the SNP already said it was a once in a generation vote) SNP will be running on a pro-EU stance. Scotland has made it clear they want more control and don't like Westminster running everything but then want to apply to join the EU where it'll be the same but with EU running matters. Plus taking the Euro and paying into the coffers of the EU rather getting money back...
If Scotland wants to be independent and have self control, why not run on the platform of EEA membership like Norway?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

No, it will be about Scotland's place in the UK. The EU will be an irrelevance.0 -

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

The UK used to include the whole of Ireland, but chopping off 2/3 of Ireland didn't make any difference to the UK constitutionally, just a wording change from "Ireland" to "Northern Ireland".You could similarly replace "Great Britain" with "Britain", or perhaps "England and Wales" to be more explicit, and the result would still be a union of several kingdoms.United Kingdom, on the other hand, is purely a political term: it’s the independent country that encompasses all of Great Britain and the region now called Northern Ireland.
Note region of Northern Ireland. It was never a Kingdom. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
