I voted No, Remain also but I believe in honouring the result of both of those referendums. There should not be a "peoples vote" on Brexit, just the same as there should not be an indy ref 2. We (rightly) voted to stay part of the UK here in Scotland so we must leave the EU with the UK. It was a UK vote, not a seperate vote for each individual part of the UK.
Frankly although I voted remain and can see many benefits of staying in the EU I can also see many benefits of leaving and would just like it done properly now.0 -

Assuming Brexit goes ahead then that's correct.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I always thought if I was Scottish and lived in Scotland, I would probably have voted Yes in the last referendum but not if I were there as an English. In case I became the victim of woad stained vigilantes.
I doubt there will be another vote until it's been determined how awful Brexit is, but the EU could well offer the Scots a fantastic deal for abandoning the UK. I would.0 -
I doubt there will be another vote until it's been determined how awful Brexit is........
.....and then Scots will compound that "awful Brexit" by voting for something that will dwarf the negative effects of Brexit? ie. independence.
Not happening.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Which is more important for our future right here, the EU or the UK? If you would rather be in the EU than the UK then your priorities are in the wrong place.0

There won't be another vote until the UK parliament is persuaded to hold one.
I'm not sure what kind of 'fantastic deal' the EU might offer. Faced with an application from a hypothetically independent Scotland they are more likely to be concerned about the size of the fiscal deficit. As in a firm commitment to get it down fast, and a strict timetable for the adoption of the Euro.
They might be concerned about the border as well. Depending on what exact arrangements we end up with post Brexit.0 -
