Fandabidozy?
Oh, I see; it means fantastic. Not a word I've come across before.
Your suggestion that the Krankies are at the centre of some political sex cult seems a little far fetched. But then again, this thread is chock full of far fetched suggestions. And at least yours is vaguely believable.
Confirmed unionists as well. There's no way on earth they'd be bankrolling anyone with anything to do with the SNP.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

It's still less far fetched than 99.9% of your posts.:)0 -

Six months + to investigate allegations before it's referred to Police Scotland. If allegations of sexual assault are made why wait so long to give it to the police? Since when has it been within the Scottish Governments remit to investigate alleged criminality? Who is the head of the Scottish Government that sat on this for so long?
In the real world it would have been referred to the relevant police authority far sooner..why wasn't it?
Wee nippy is not so innocent here.0 -

The Scottish Govt, like the Welsh Govt put in new procedures late 2017 dealing with sexual misconduct complaints. Salmond by all accounts seems to have gone through exactly the same process as a Mr Carl Sargeant ( Welsh AMS) did in terms of not knowing what the allegations were against him. Mr Sargeant unfortunately took his own life while his family state that he never knew what he was actually accused of.He was never told who made these accusations, or what they were, and he always strenuously denied acting improperly.Sacked Welsh Government minister Carl Sargeant took his own life days after being accused of inappropriate conduct towards women....
8 November: Mr Sargeant's family say he was deprived of "natural justice" and he was not informed of any of the detail of the allegations against him, despite requests and warnings regarding his mental welfare.
But it's the above process for Govt internal sexual misconduct investigations - not any charges or criminal case which may or may not emerge - for which Salmond raised the money. If you went by the current Scottish media kangaroo court you'd think that Alex was raising money to pay criminal charge solicitors fees. He hasn't even been charged as yet and hasn't been a politician for a while now.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

A legal fees ‘war chest’ from fellow Scottish nationalists is not a good look IMO. I still can’t work out why a former politician facing these sort of allegations would think it appropriate to make it a ‘cause’ that he would want others to support.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Did I donate. No. Do I think folks should have the right to see what they are accused of in internal/work related cases. Yes. I guess Salmond's war chest will see the entire process either remaining as is, or changed. Plus 50k will go to charity. Is too late for Salmond though in terms of 'fairness'. He's already been tried and found guilty via media and Twitter - as was always going to happen once the story was leaked. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
