Well...a new runway at Heathrow...which was 300 to 400 miles long, and North-South orientation, would technically be a Scottish independence thing!

But, I believe Ryan Air pilots now have sufficient concentration skills to land in a shorter distance - so not needed.

I haven't really got much of an opinion on it to be honest. I'm divided. The blog and comments were 11 years old, she had already apologised repeatedly when this was flagged up before. This wasn't new or a startling revelation to anyone who followed her election as an MSP, or indeed the last Scottish GE.



The other parties and the usual tame media have swooped in a destroyed her career. Nothing new there though...
