You're right ! I gave you the wrong link to an outdated poll and I do apologise. I guess it's easier if you just read the articles to be honest.

As alert readers will recall, this week we commissioned Panelbase to poll the good people of England.

Many will remember bitterly the short-lived lovebombing campaign from the indyref, in which a list of semi-celebrities from the rest of the UK was assembled to assure Scots of how much they were valued and cherished by their UK partners. Four years on, not so much.

It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

It's another link to Wings Over Somerset. Polling 1000 people claiming they all speak for England.

And what does it conclude? That English people who want Brexit, want Brexit, and that if Scottish, Northern Irish or Gibraltarian people don't want Brexit, then they should be allowed to exit the UK.

    Those fascists.

I'll bet the Rev can barely choke down his cream tea at Bath Cathedral today.

Shakey disparages The Scotsman and then posts links to a site run by a bloke typing at a keyboard in his underpants from deepest Somerset.

It doesn't prove anything and Panelbase polls are just as legit as Survation ones.
However, it's an interesting perspective and one that has given more than a few 'precious, precious union' types food for thought. I imagine the same sort of thing is going on in NI right now realising that there are a lot of folks elsewhere in the UK who couldn't care less if they left/would welcome them leaving.

Anyway, there's been a pure flurry of 'save the union' type stuff appearing from all angles today. As well as Davison, Foster, Gove, Jim Murphy as others all speaking at Policy Exhange think tank thing on Brexit and the Union today. Highly entertaining. Sturgeon possibly firing the starting gun soon has obviously rattled cages hard. This is the very, very last thing May needs right now I'd imagine... I'd also imagine Nicola knows that fine well too.

The oil price goes up and the Nats suddenly start the Indy debate again. Coincidence? I think not.

It doesn't say what you're spinning it to say. If you want to think that English people are all Scot haters who would like to impale you on the Spike of Gibraltar as soon as look at you because the Wings Over Somerset guy spent that week's beer money on an online Panelbase poll of 1000 people, then be my guest.

It'll be news to the BPC and Panelbase that their polls aren't genuine. Is quite true though according to the tables, English voters would rather, on the whole and according to a perfectly legitimate and BPC approved poll - lose NI and Scotland than Gibraltar.

Never mind, the Growth Commission report is out on Friday. SNP MP's and MSP's are all over twitter and social media right now talking about it. BBC and STV have been out this afternoon hastily vox popping and finding 100% of - by sheer coincidence (lol) - their interviewees don't want independence/2nd vote. Lots of headlines and articles popping up about how Nicola Sturgeon has been 'slapped down' by Theresa, and Ruth Davidson is on just about every channel and media outlet shouting about saying no to an indy ref.

Something's afoot. The SNP conference is soon..

Well, for years a low oil price was the only reason worth quoting as to why Scotland couldn't go indy according to a lot of posters here.

If it stays up then if there's another vote it won't be part of the debate. Both sides will be too scared to mention it.

Wasn't it your hope Shakey that an independent Scotland could negotiate a good separation deal?

Hasn't Brexit demonstrated that the split will be divisive and bitter, and the bigger party will try and coerce the smaller player to accept any deal?
