I am so mad about this. You'll vote Tory but not Labour just when the rest of the country starts coming round to leftwing politics???

Ah, left wing politics. The politics of envy. What everybody can't have, nobody must.

Let's create a bunch of Labour voting clients. In the good old days of Blair and Brown, we imported millions and gave them homes and benefits so that they would vote the correct way. In the days of Corbyn, we promise the youth the earth at no cost to them but at a big hit in the pockets to those who have actually gone out to work to better themselves without asking for anything from the state in return. More clients to vote for the politics of the left wing whose mantra is 'Do as I say and not as I do' when it comes to looking after themselves. The Diane Abbott types who rail against private education and then send their own kids to private schools.

    Pass the sick bag, Doris.

I am so fed up with Scotland. I cannot flipping believe you voted in a load of Tory MPs. We could have a Labour government right now.

And you're pontificating about flipping independence?!

Maybe turn the tide of voting for Lord Haw Haws who want to gallop over your countryside whipping you with their riding crops while you tug your forelocks and send them another shipment of oil first.

This has happened because the Scottish people (those that are able to vote)are very well educated and very intelligent.

I do say it is lovely we are not having to listen, for a few days anyway, Sturgeon going on about independence.

On the subject of the Tories entering into a support agreement (not a coalition] with the DUP, that has come under criticism from Sinn Fein amongst others on the basis that it would compromise the neutrality of the UK government.

I came across this report of early this year, which I had suspected but had not known before.

Taoiseach not ruling out coalition with Sinn Fein

    Worth noting methinks.

Ruth Davidson offered nothing in this election other than stopping IndyRef2.

The SNP didn't even bother launching their manifesto until the 30th May. Seems as if they took the result for granted. Rather than looking for blame elsewhere. Inward reflection is sometimes required.

That is a bit harsh. It was delayed on purpose because of the Manchester bombing..

Not really, it was over a week later, suggests it wasn't ready.

If you didn't want to hear Sturgeon going on about Independence, then why did you give the SNP a clean sweep in 2015?

What exactly did you think they were going to go on about?
