Today's news that the Queens speech may be held up due to vellum issues is almost the icing on the cake

The rest of the world must be in knots

I doubt that most people in the rest of the world know what the Queens Speech is about, or care about what happens in the UK. Most other countries have their own problems for their people to worry about, many more pressing than the politics of the UK.

They have been found to have links with the UDA and UVF ... terrorist organisations ... Google is your friend in this instance :)

Looks like someone has missed the Good Friday thingy and the resultant peace based on compromise and necessary pragmatism that emanated from it.
Part of that process was the recognition and legitimacy of the Ulster Loyalist tradition and all that it entailed in 'The Troubles'.
It wouldn't surprise me if elantan had some personal or perhaps family connection with the Irish Catholic tradition in Scotland perhaps?

I am so fed up with Scotland. I cannot flipping believe you voted in a load of Tory MPs. We could have a Labour government right now.

And you're pontificating about flipping independence?!

Maybe turn the tide of voting for Lord Haw Haws who want to gallop over your countryside whipping you with their riding crops while you tug your forelocks and send them another shipment of oil first.

I am so mad about this. You'll vote Tory but not Labour just when the rest of the country starts coming round to leftwing politics???

My view? The Tory vote has just recovered to a more natural 'norm' quicker. The 2015 SNP landslide shocked lots of voters, even those that voted SNP that time. Remember that prior to this SNP had six seats if I recall right. With the greatest of respect you didn't live under Labour domination for decades and were treated like a fiefdom. Labour have more bridges to build, it is not all about Corbyn.
