Let's see what the negotiations outcome is and then vote for it.
I believe a substantial part the the UK would like this option too.
You seem to insist upon Scots having to vote for or against independence not even knowing what a post-independence currency would be.0 -

It's not a ludicrous suggestion. The economic argument you're making is essentially a faith based ideology, like religion.
All you know is how it is right now, changes can occur but to know what changes, when and how is impossible, so its based purely on faith. Whereas the arguments against are based on present knowledge and data.
I've quoted before opportunities in this thread.
Its ludicrous to suggest that any change from the current situation is based on flat earthier idealists etc.
In business, it's said if you stand still you actually go backwards as others overtake you, hence we should always be adaptable and adjust to position ourselves at the best place we can be in.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

So what are the currency options? Let's discuss them one by one.Union, not Disunion
I have a Right Wing and a Left Wing.

But we're not talking about business, we're talking about policy.0 -

Well, it can't be the Euro.
Certainly not before they join.
They would have to pay the rUK to use the GB£.
So ........... what are the other options?0 -

Policy can help drive business growth.:wall:

There are no policies put forward by the independence movement though. So it's blind faith isn't it?0 -

So you believe that an Independent country, regardless of the party elected to government with full fiscal control will not be able to define policy that focuses, delivers and is accountable to the electorate?
Incidentally, there are a number of policies which are now being adopted by the unionist parties.
Westminster may be afraid that allowing full control will allow Scotland to forge ahead :wall:

More pointless waffle?
You want to prove it isn't, show us this "number of [SNP] policies which are now being adopted by the unionist parties"?0 -

Can you deny that the article is based on current circumstances and does not consider the opportunity to diversify and change the economy?
You are trying to make it sound that that is very easy to do eg like the flick of a switch!0
