Can it be set for when the outcome of Brexit is known?

Or is TM hoping she can procrastinate long enough for some other reason to delay the democratic will of the elected MSPs?

    [edit]
Now is not the time as "Better together" can't use the same scaremongering tactics as 2014

You will simply have to wait until Brexit is p!ayed out, not pretend that it is all done and dusted before it actually is, damaging everyone in the process.
    Union, not Disunion

    Interesting post distribution on here.

It obviously takes a lot of effort to talk up independence.

Well, if it keeps people like so so immersed in the thread that you go out of your way to research individual posts counts for in-depth comparisons on post distributions. S'all good. :T
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

There will be dozens of reasons to claim "now is not the time" in the next couple of years.

European elections; Trump tweeting his bedroom antics to Putin's trophy girlfriend; another terrorist atrocity in the West; North Korea's latest roman candle; Brexit shenanigans; Diane Abbott given air time on telly...

Yep, May will find some way to fillibuster Indy#2 out into the long grass.

    ...

How do the EU27 respond when they've had hundreds of man days of complex negotiations, some involving Scottish fishing grounds etc, and then ... all of a sudden May has to announce "ahh, but Scotland might be off soon, so can we park all that bit, including her contribution to the EU settlement bill?".

Yeah, Merkel's gonna say "yer, sure, take yer time guys". :rotfl:

I think the EU will already know by know that at some point Scotland might be off soon. It's hardly a secret. Sturgeon was all over the EU and German newpapers in March when she announced she was seeking a section 30. Many doubt May will be sticking around much past Sept anyway for talks.
