It's what modern politicians are good at...kicking the can down the road.
I've said before, if you lot want independence then it doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure anyone has thought out how to manage even more complexity late next year.
But, engage with us all Shakey. How does it work? Does May suddenly invite Sturgeon to the EU negotiating table, even before Scotland has completed the independence process?
Nobody but nobody has done this A50 business yet, and you want to make it a whole lot more complicated. Why should the EU agree anyway?0 -

It's strange that engagement is talked down by some.
There's obviously a preference for a one sided discussion, nodding heads all in agreement.
The problem is, this is a debate board:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

I accepted the 2014 result. I moved on.
The democratic position was set and hugely based on remaining in the EU
The 2016 referendum significantly changed the situation and Scotland is now being withdrawn from the Eu, putting the 2014 referendum result in question.
We've seen, very staunch anti SNP, pro remain posters in here vehemently state they are now voting for the most pro Indy party as they now want Independence.
I don't know what the issue is, if the consideration is that the electorate of Scotland would reject Independence, let the question be asked and accept the decision with the new position we are in now.
It's not clutching at straws is it. They are open to all facts.
The SNP and SGP are the only main parties (if the Greens count) who are pro independence. A vote for them endorses that. A vote that isn't for them does not endorse a pro independence position. Given that Labour, the Lib Dems and the Conservatives are openly pro union votes for these 3 for certain are against independence.
Come June 9th we will know if Scotland wants independence or not. You don't want to acknowledge that because you probably as I know what the outcome will be.0 -
Well I reckon Nicola won that round... and the Tories tweeted from behind the sofa ...0

The 60% was before there was a significant and fundamental change.
A change that was the significant base the no campaigners based their scaremongering on.
This is 2017, we've moved on past 2014, 2015 & 2016
:rotfl:
Told you!
Never mind that despite this moving on no polls show 60% support. A lame excuse, by a lame party and people.
So come on, how much support do you think you need now?
If not 60% then what?0 -

Stop squirming.
If it's as strong as you think or how you wish to interpret, there should be no reason to allow the question.
I fully believe the party which wins the most seats in Scotland will be the SNP.
A party that is pro independence.
If it's as anti independence as you portray and that this GE is a defector Independence referendum, then we'll see the SNP become a minority party again.
We'll see what June 09th brings.
A majority party or pro-independence or the major party as a unionist party.:wall:

Do you accept that there is a fundamental and significant change since 2015 when 60% was the criteria?:wall:

It is dissapointing that the leaders of the two largest parties are afraid to be scrutinised live on a TV debate:wall:

Nope. Nothing to do with the size of parites. I've said this a few times now.
I'll leave my reply at this so the above sinks in.0
