    Hi all,

Been "Up" now for 2 weeks, had a few "dips" which soon bounced back. Things starting to feel normal, not feeling stressed too much which much be a good thing.

Kinda still waiting for the emotional fall again...but i guess with time this will fade and confidence will increase and all this hopefully a distant memory...

    Penguin

I'm awake. I've eating almost 1lb of grapes, high protein quark and porridge. I want to eat more. :(

I had all morning to do something, a list of stuff to do and now I've got no time to do much before taking over an hour to get to work for more training.

I need to make a few phone calls, book some computer time at the library, pick up a prescription, I wanted to see inside a new department store that had it's grand opening today and get rid of some old medicine containers.

No time. I really need to get on top of the procrastination.....:(:(:(:(:(:(
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Penguin reply Try not to beat yourself up over what you've eaten. If nothing else you can try to focus on the fact that they're all things which give you nutrients - I've mostly eaten crisps and chocolate today...

Don't beat yourself up about the procrastination either. You need to give yourself time to do nothing and anything which isn't an absolute must to get done now will happen as and when you get to it. I would've thought visiting the department store would actually be better left for a while, just the thought of the crowds of people likely to be there makes me feel a bit

Good luck with today's training and try to be kind to yourself

Hugs to all who need them at the moment xx

I know this might sound daft but I have become very aware of how much shorter the daylight is getting and although I love Halloween, Christmas, candles and bonfires; I am feeling quite a dread of the darkness this year.

We have a funeral to go to today. It's my DH cousin who was a sort of hermit so I didn't know him well, but DH spent a lot of his youth with him. After the cremation they are going to a pub, apparently there will be lots of people there and they are a boozy crowd so I'm wondering if I can duck out of it. I'm hoping DH won't mind as he will know them all, and I just can't do socialising right now.

Was supposed to go to Grand Designs Live, but have rearranged everything after a call from a London based employment agency about a job.

I've had to arrange private blood tests to fulfil the proof of immunizations they've requested.

Hundreds of pounds and travel for hundreds of miles for an agency job.

Dandy - I hope that the funeral goes well and that DH's okay with you making a swift exit before the wake.

GN - good luck with the agency job. I can't believe they expect you to jump through those kind of hoops!!

I worked out the finances and it just isn't feasible.

I've got a part time/as and when job which I'll stick with for now. £100 a month for travel!!?

I wrote an email explaining that if it was for a permanent job I'd take their arm off, but as it isn't, I'll just hsve to withdraw my application.

Grand Designs Live was pretty good and I popped over to see the new Resorts World as well.

There are lots of sequin spangled tweenagers queuing up for everything. Little Mix (and their cardboard cutouts) are here!!

    Hi all,

Went to the funeral and afterwards I did go to the pub because DH was a bit upset and I didn't want to leave him to it. I had a chat with one his cousins who is nice and we didn't stay late. We had a quiet evening and tbh still feel pretty washed out, not helped by DS1 crashing in from a club at 4.20 am

DD is asked last night if she could have a friend over today, which i don't mind at all but it did mean i had to tidy up. only managed the tidying and a damp cloth, cant face dragging the hoover around but it looks presentable at least!

Completely agree with you gingernutty about the job, its just not worth doing. I hope something better comes along soon.

    Hugs to all x
