About about to have catch up ref ER who is now refusing to eat. Still in hospital, was meant to be going back to MH ward for reassessment but physical needs have overtaken MH ones apparently. Although they're so interrelated, I'm not sure it's that easy to separate, but MH wards don't offer that level of physical care, Not much integrated services going on though, either way.

We will be making cakes later.

Blue skies here so I shall attempt to hang out the big items of washing.

Still got to finish the present cupboard rearranging.

Sorry about ER, elsien, that must be a worry. Is the hospital giving those nutrient drinks? My ER had those for a while and then felt more like eating properly again.

    I must visit ER later.

    Right there with you HBS.

So do I. Woke up before 4am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm not being very productive today.

Just had an email from big pay cut place saying I haven't been shortlisted - even though I absolutely met every single one of the criteria they asked for.

I've been rejected for many jobs over the years (many, many jobs) but this one has really annoyed me as there is no reason I shouldn't have at least got an interview. I do fully realise that they can pick who they want of course, it's just really flipping irritating. Generally I'd be thinking that I just wasn't the right person, didn't have the skills etc but this one time I really did have every single thing they were looking for, my experience was such a good match for what they wanted and the application I sent (though I say so myself) was honestly really good!

Found out earlier that the other person in my department who's struggling just as much with our ridiculous manager and ridiculous work is leaving in a few months. Which I'm genuinely pleased about as no one should have to work here.... but obviously that just makes me want to leave even more.

Don't think I have ever been this disappointed / upset / annoyed about a job before :(

((tea)). They probably decided that you'd be bored moving downwards, which is nonsense really, because why would you offer to take a paycut if you didn't really want the job? Idiots. I hope you find something soon.

For me, another no letter day.

Yep, I think that's why it feels so unfair. It's one thing when you don't have the right experience etc, but it feels so much worse when someone you don't know seems to have decided your motivations for you (and got it wrong).

    Oh well, sure I'll live!

Hope you get the letter soon - are they able to tell you how long it might take??
  • Sorry tea, that's rubbish. Hope something better comes along very soon. And code, that you get your letter as well.

It's very annoying tea. I hope you find something good soon.

I got a message last week from the guy who leads the team I'll be working for wanting to know if I got the letter and when I could start. He said he'd chase it, but they're insisting on pre-employment checks first. Seems a bit unnecessary as I've been gone less than 5 months. It's extremely frustrating.

Also extremely hormonal so keep bursting into tears.
