Yes, this!
You sound much more settled MU, glad your GP appointment went ok and that you're taking your meds. Hope work goes ok x. Don't ever feel you need to apologise for posting in whatever mood/state you're in though - up, down, bored, depressed, excited, fed up with life,..... whatever it is, we always want to hear from you if you want to post (same for everyone else too).0 -
I am very close to a toddler style meltdown. Not only do I still not have the letter from HR, work are hassling me about the deadlines, I can't seem to bring myself to actually do the work because I just want to get on with the whole resigning business. On top of that DA dog is acting strangely and I'm hormonal because some of the communists are entering the fun house.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

- not at you being hormonal but at the description.
MU, I'm glad things are starting to ease down a little bit for you.0 -
Communists have turned up at mine too, and have brought chocolate chip shortbread with them.
DH is trying to get more healthily. I seem to think 5 a day means cakes and biscuits.
I fell asleep on the sofa last night and didn't even make it to bed. Been cold and sluggish all day today. Nothing is cheering me up these days. A little sheepdog puppy went past earlier and I registered its joy at the world but didn't even smile. I have things to look forward too (theoretically) but it all seems a hassle. However, this is probably down to getting a grip on my new financial spreadsheet and thinking how much money and responsibility everything seems to be.
Good things that have happened lately:
new-to-me bag from MIL
cheap panto ticket for littlewing with brownies
got back a few hundred quid that someone owed me (I knew it would get it so it wasn't worrying me but it's nice to - have - had)
still have a good stash of toiletries from xmas so no need to spend money on that:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I saw it referred to earlier on this forum as shark week :rotfl::rotfl:
I forgot to say on tuesday when action man and collie arrived home at about 10.30pm. Action collie went from room to room looking for me and then jumped on the bed and went mad at seeing me :rotfl:
Anyway action man is starting to cancel and change things over to here.
Not sure why but today I got up and made action mans lunch. Went back to bed for a cuddle and then went back in to broken sleep until about 12ish. And then felt like I had been drinking all muzzy headed.
Well hugs, squishes and handshakes all around.

Thank you for the hair tips, I have hope! Right now my hair looks like a hat sitting on my head.
Congratulations on your new little family, Calley! I am so happy for you.
Glad you are feeling better, MU. We love you no matter how you feel.
Stick with the budgeting, whitewing, It does feel overwhelming at first but trust me, it becomes a habit and even fun after a while. Do something nice for yourself tonight.
Big hugs to Code and tea, work problems are so miserable. I challenge you both to do one lovely thing for yourselves before Monday, biscuits are included in this!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

WaS sorry should not laugh but I did. I have fine hair and I can tell when I don't brush it. It is a mad mess first thing in the morning. I now have to wear a ponytail when I got to bed.Waves_and_Smiles wrote: »Congratulations on your new little family, Calley! I am so happy for you.
Thank you. Think I am more anxious than excited at the moment due to the amount of stuff to get rid of and move at actions mans. I never knew one person could have so much stuff. Seems he is a little bit like sheldon from big bang who keeps everything. He has excluding the one he is using at the moment 4 other pc base units!!!!!!! And that is just the start of things

Err, that was me. Code has used the communists one before and I wanted to borrow it, but I couldn't remember exactly how it went.
I've been trying to fix my central heating with a bicycle pump, that I bought from Halfords yesterday for exactly that purpose. Not sure if I've been successful or not yet, thermostat says my house is at 13.5C, which is pretty chilly  but at least the boiler is running.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -

I thought it was you Ono but now as everyone seems to use the same few avatars or what ever they are called. Did not want to quote incase I got it wrong and I was too lazy to go and check :rotfl:onomatopoeia99 wrote: »I've been trying to fix my central heating with a bicycle pump, that I bought from Halfords yesterday for exactly that purpose. When I had my last service on my boiler over a year ago. yes I know need to get it done again. They used a bike pump to re-pressurise the system or some such thing like that. It was funny to see them do it.

I did enjoy your use of shark week ono. That's one I use a lot. I also like riding the cotton pony, but as I use a menstrual cup, that doesn't really apply. Riding the silicone pony maybe? :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
