Afternoon my lovelies,
Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round.
Been away since saturday lunch time. Went back to Action mans. Came back yesterday and saw husband and we went shopping. And it rained all night so slept on his sofa. And finally just got back. Spent money I can't afford. Even more so as I came back to find a letter from the DVLA asking £310 and that does not include any road tax I owe  I know my own fault.
Penguin about dentists
Right got a phone call at 5pm yesterday asking me if I could make the hygienist at 9.25am today. OMG never felt such discomfort. Was nearly sick twice. Came out £45 lighter  And she wanted me to come back next month:rotfl: lucky for me no appointments until April :j:j
Need to look at getting a electric tooth brush and some more bigger interdental brushes. It does look better. But seems my previous dentist just did a very basic scale and polish.
Penguin end
Managed to get a few bits and pieces for action mans valentines present. I went in to charity shops yesterday the first time in a very long time to get some cook books. As I need to expand my skills and menu  Anyway found some lovely pictures little pictures of border collies in frames. I know he will love them. And some books about soldiers. Got them in the sales at the book shop.
His birthday is in may so not sure how to them up yet.
Also action man better watch out as I bought a nerf gun today. he has two as his parents bought him one for christmas and he bought one himself.
Anyway we have decided to move his moving in date forward so no more back and forwards from his to mine.
Should get on and have a shower and do some tidying before he arrives this evening. Oh want weird. Husband and action are going to the cinema together on thrusday to watch a film I am not keen on. Andy can get Action man in for free with his cea card. That will more than cover Action mans fuel and wear and tear on the car.
MU have to agree with others on here you do sound like you are getting hyper. Please take lots care.

I've got a cold.
I can't face Maths tonight.
I've agreed to do 30 hours a week for the new team.
MU. I know you feel invincible, but please, please take it easy and speak to your doctor about how you're feeling when you go in for your injection.
Your last posts are worrying...... sorry to be a Debbie Downer:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
MU, Olanzapine is horrid stuff isn't it? I never had an original thought in the three years I took it. Sometimes, I think that the psychiatrists should be made to try these drugs themselves! But, as BP2-ers, we do need something to keep us on an even keel. Even if we think we don't.
The good news is, Olanz. is not the only mood stabiliser out there. There's a myriad out there and you deserve the opportunity to find the one which works best for you. Just as an example, and this is in no way medical advice, but I've been stable for a few years on carbamazepine now and I know many people see it as the very devil. We are all so different in that respect.
So could you possibly consider asking the doc for an urgent medication review and maybe taking your zyprexa in the meantime? You would only be taking it until you saw the doc again so it would only be a temporary situation, but more to the point, a situation that you would be in control of?
Whatever you decide MU, keep reporting back to us. There are so many people here who care about you and want to hear from you, whether you are well or not.0 -
Have been super-organised today and once I cleared my inbox I treated myself to an all day ticket to the quarter finals of the Welsh open snooker on Friday week
Was prompted by Eurosport showing a repeat of last year's final yesterday evening, so I got off my bum and did something about going. Usually I just procrastinate and completely fail to do anything, then see it on the telly and think "oh, I wish I'd gone" :rotfl:Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
I have been the complete opposite to super-organised. In theory I'm working but am still in my pj's and am resolutely ignoring the enormous amount of emails building up. Which is just more stressful as I know they're there, taunting me.0

What's the latest with the old place code..... any progress?
I'm really hungry but I also really don't want to get dressed and leave the house..... am considering ordering a pizza in the middle of the day.0 -
I have my old job back but I'm waiting for HR to send a letter before I can resign. My old/new manager has asked them to send it urgently, which means it might be here before Christmas.
I've ordered pizza in the middle of the day before. No shame in it. I just had half a bag of doritos.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Have everything crossed they get the paperwork sorted soon.0
