I know this doesn't help you at all but it's the same at my hairdresser's and it's because he works on Saturdays. He likes having two days off together so his weekend is Sunday and Monday.
Was there a make-up counter where you got your eyebrows done? I normally have mine done at lunchtime and ask them to put some concealer on for me so that I don't come back to the office with bright red eyebrows0 -
It's fairly normal for hairdressers to be closed on Mondays. It's the quietest day for them. The city centre ones are open though.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Don't think I've ever seen a hairdressers that does open on a Monday, although I'm sure some city ones do (as Torry points out). Which is a pain when that's the one time you want to go!0

Hairdressers aren't a thing for me, I go to a barber, which is open on a Monday. Doesn't take him very long to earn his tenner for a "4 on top, 2 back and sides" in my lunch hour. I only get it cut that short so I don't have to remember to go back as oftenProud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

I am in Wolves city centre. Some nail salons were open, some not. The beauty salon I normally go to not but it's sister branch was.
If I could have got there today, I could have had the 'treatment'. But I couldn't, so I didn't, so I went to a little concession in the department store and ended up holding ice cubes to my head for an hour. Even the hair salon in the department store was closed for business with a receptionist fielding calls.
Like I said, it's unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but annoying when it's supposed to be a 24/7/365 society and I can't get my hair cut on a Monday morning. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
The hairdressers around us open late on Friday nights and maybe even Thursday as well as being open on Saturday.
I did used to have two non-consecutive days off work a week and it is horrible - you don't really relax and it is over as soon as it has begun. So I don't blame them for being closed on Mondays.
Although I have also tried to have my hair cut on a Mon and been surprised they weren't open!
I had a very slow start to the day but did achieve some things later on.
Think I am suffering from more of a winter downer than normal. MU,
are you ok? Maybe you were just in a big rush, your post above made me smile but didn't quite sound to me like you usually do.
