I am dreading going back to work tomorrow after today's email exchange. I don't want to be there and I'm worried I'm going to get angry and lose it, and when I get angry and lose it I cry like a toddler. OK, my work has been sub-standard, but that's mainly due to not giving me the access I need, and putting pressure on me when I'm ill, especially when I have a disability, isn't the way to get it to improve. It's just made me furious.

I've had a couple of lovely emails from people involved in my recruitment at the old place saying how happy they are to have me back which makes me feel so much better and like I'm not a horrible failure.

I've started biting my nails again after 1.5 years.

Bonus. Just signed up for free audio books from my local library in an attempt to do something that wont make me nuts tomorrow. So that's something. I also got a couple of ebooks while I was at it. I do love a good freebie book.

  • Hope you get sorted soon too code, what an awful situation!!

I'll definitely think about some compromises with Mr HBS - I hope we can sort this out as generally he's a darling.

code - this probably isn't the answer, but do you have to go back in? I'd be tempted to tell them to stick it, or at least stay off sick for the time being.

I thought about it, but I don't want to burn my bridges at least until I have my formal letter. Experience has taught me that HR in the old place move at a glacial pace.

Having said that, I'm not in the office yet. When I get there I intend to cough and sneeze over everyone. I feel like if have to do the one to one with my manager then I will lose it and quit though so trying to avoid that.

Make sure you spread germs all over the person who sent you that email yesterday. Then when they're at home ill, send them a sarky note about their workload.

    Afternoon my lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round. Extras for the MIA's, Pyxis, WaS and Mel are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Sure there are more but their names escape me.

OMG what a dirty wet action collie today after going out for walk. Have left action collie in the kitchen on his mat. As my house is starting to smell doggy. I know that I am not that house proud but really its not nice. Washed a couple of cushion covers that stunk. Think that has helped the living room not smell so doggy. Need to get some fleeces to put on the sofa so I can wash them and it wont get so smelly.

Still plodding on. Need to go back to the dr's as I still have issues getting up in the morning. its just not being lazy. I just seem to go back to sleep and I feel I have slept properly at night. I just rarely seem to get anything done. Some days I get loads done and other nothing and there seem to be more nothing days.

I don't think I am depressed. I might be a bit anxious about action man moving in on the 1st April. Mainly due to sorting his place out. But then I worry about anything :rotfl:

Umm think about what to have for tea tonight :o

    Every one take care

    Yours

    Calley X

I feel like I want to panic, but I have to remember this is just a symptom, not a reality. (For no real reason either; sort of think it is money related and also lots of little things that I am waiting for someone to get back to me on. Never was good at waiting for anything. It makes me feel unloved, even though the people am ).

I have only 2 main jobs today (one of which is reliant on someone turning up for their appointment). Must carry on.

The sun is breaking through, which is lovely. It is windy here but I don't mind wind.

    The sun is out!
