I quite like the contrast code. It's a very pretty shape0

Do you think it's acceptable to respond to a staff member who has called in sick with an email saying it's caused their work stack to slide? No hope you're feeling better soon or anything. Just worried about a deadline?
That just happened.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Definitely not acceptable. On the plus side (bear with me!).... good to know that your decision to leave is being backed up by more and more evidence each day.0

Yup. There was a point where I thought, hey maybe it's not so bad, maybe I can stick it out for the money and convenience. Nah. Now my only concern is keeping it together until I get the official letter so I can resign.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Code, no, not acceptable. Says a lot about the culture and management (or lack of it) that an employee being ill triggers a response like that.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

Had a moment last week where I was thinking similar.... it's not so bad, do I really want to throw away ten years of working on a career and qualifications, how can I even consider less money, etc.
Today, I am absolutely on the verge of just walking out. Just had the most annoying conference call ever, I've been paid wrong AGAIN and I am struggling to think of a single reason not to just go home.0 -

Can you go home at lunchtime tea? Have a mental health afternoon to think things through.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Lots of love tea! Agree with Code, can you at least leave a bit early?
I'm having a dilemma today. Well, other than feeling otterly rubbish and wanting my bed. (No apology for otter pun!)
OH says he's quit smoking, and uses a vape. However, I keep coming in and the house stinks of smoke, and he stinks of smoke, especially after he's been with his friends...who all smoke, and not just tobacco. I HATE smoking. Detest it, in any form - and I also suspect it's affecting my recovery from pneumonia.
However, I can't prove anything, and he'll probably deny it. I don't want to have to decide if it's a deal breaker or not, because that will break my heart, but I honestly cannot deal with him smoking...it doesn't just affect him.
What on earth do I do. I feel so poorly as well and just want to cry in bed.

Not sure what to say. Is it more about the fact that he has not been truthful or the smoking itself that is the issue.
Maybe when you are feeling a bit better. Why not sit down and talk to him. Tell him that its not about the fact that its his health he is effecting but yours as well. And then there is the cost as well. And also you want to trust him.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

When you are really poorly is not the best time to make decisions. (I am afraid smoking would be a dealbreaker for me, but then again DH does imbibe the occasional cigar - last time I know about was 2008 so he is probably due another).
code, I like lacy dresses. Would need to see your dyed one on. I like the pink against the background, but not so sure about the top bit. Collar looks black on my computer. I love the shape though too. It's grey and cold here so I am biased against dresses with holes in and short sleeves, lol.
Can you email back and invite the 'person' over for a chat about how best to handle the approaching deadline? (More mature approach than I could probably do. I.am.a.wimp).
I am tired but plodding along reasonably contentedly.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
