They don't need to add any false nails if your's are long enough.

    Shower time for me

Alas Melly, my nails are currently dodgy as heck as I do a lot of crafts, and I've never had strong nails anyway. My mum, God bless her, had nails like blooming wolverine!!! She didn't have to look, after them, regularly did gardening, washing etc.... Not one broke... Ever:eek:

Think this might be. A penguin???

Not sure so I'd rather just do it in case.

(It's nice to remember that - without getting upset (she died few years back). It's nice to not get upset at her memories, obv sometimes I do. But it's lovely to smile at the daft memories too.. She really was my best friend. At least she with my dad now.

    End penguin.

    (((Pebbles)))

I don't know about acrylics as once my nails reach a certain length I can't stand the way they feel and have to cut them. If your nails come past the ends of your fingers, they're long enough for gels I think or you could get shellac, which I what I used to do when I could afford manicures (pre dog). Do they offer any other treatments? Also don't be afraid to ask what they recommend. They won't think anything of it.

I just got my new dresses delivered and they're so pretty. I now have a wardrobe full of dresses and skirts. Just need more tights. :rotfl:

I once managed to break my nails to the point where there was almost no white left, the day before I had an appointment for a shellac manicure, but they still managed to shape and paint them.
It really doesn't feel any different from having normal nail varnish on, other than the fact that I can wash my hair without it all flaking off :D

Does it have to be nail-related pebbles? Please don't ever feel bad about asking the place for recommendations/advice - I'm sure they'd much rather have a quick chat with you about what they offer then have you feeling uncomfortable. Hope you enjoy it whatever you go for x

I am having a spectacularly unproductive day, even by my own usual low standards! I always love the idea of working from home but I find it almost impossible to do any actual work - which sounds nice but actually just adds more pressure as I still have loads to do, and I still have to account for my time. It would be much, much easier to just do some flipping work.... but apparently that's not happening today.

Oh well, at least the snooker's on :D

    Thankyou peeps.

I don't know what to ask for, if I google, I'll be bit more confident as if they laugh at my questions & then do not nice work, I'll be too polite/scared to mention it!! X

I read that a lot of people have the same problem working from home. I'd like the opportunity to find out if I do as well :rotfl:

Don't know if you saw it last night, but Marco Fu was playing extremely well and hit a couple of shots that had an almost O'Sullivan-esque "how did he do THAT with the cue ball???" air about them. If he carries on playing that way I'd say he's a good bet to be champion this year.

Hi again, gosh too much to read!
You all seem so busy, that is a good thing. Me - I have been spring cleaning my kitchen, hoping it will bring Spring sooner, I know it wont, it is freezing in Bournemouth.

I am sad that some newbies are upsetting things. At first I thought a particular one was - oh I'm not going to gossip, just sad.

I have an emotional upset over my Uncle. Shall I tell you all, or start a thread?

    Evening my lovelies,

hugs and handshakes and squishes for all.

I did get up today but very late. Even though I went to bed earlier than normal!!!

Well most of the stuff is up off the floor in the living room. Found homes for it or in the bin or for the charity shop.

Car has gone. So off to look for another one in the next few days. And me and husband are off to take photos tomorrow in a tourist village near by. Well know for many films that have used it.

Cold here so wrapped in a blanket rather than put on the heating.

Action man not back until sunday afternoon/evening. He is going to tell his parents officially that we are moving in together at the start of April. They already seem to know. I want him to tell them so they can voice any issues they have. To soon etc

Need to look at going back to work. Don't want to but not sure I want to or what I could do from home to make money.

Any how also decided to get my divorce sorted out. Need to get some paper work filled out. And get a copy of my wedding certificate to get the ball rolling.

Everyone stay warm and have a nice evening and get try and get some rest.

    Yours

    Calley X

    Hey guys.

Bad news. I logged onto the NHS jobs website and saw my application for the job I really, really wanted was unsuccessful.

Odd thing - the site hasn't sent me an email to tell me to log in to read the message AS I HAVE REQUESTED.

If there are any notifications about any job applications, jobs.nhs sends the job applicants an email to tell them to log in and read the messages on the secure website. This hasn't happened.

I was rejected without any notification. Strange.

PARANOIA PENGUINThe former boss we, her former slaves, still call B!tchface has a mother who works in the hospital's HR Department.

She gave her daughter the heads up about my application to this same department back while I was still working in B!tchfaces's department and the pair of them sabotaged my application back then in 2013.

She still works in HR even though her daughter has moved on.

Is it paranoid to think she might have had a hand in this weirdly unsuccessful job application?
    END OF PENGUIN

All I can do now is email the managers of the department I want to work in and ask for feedback. That can only happen on Monday morning.

Until then I have housework to do, shopping to get in and other errands to run.

I'll send a screenshot of the unsuccessful notification to one of the managers listed on the advert and see if I can get some feedback. I'll see what happens then. :(
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
