We all have doubts and some people are better at dealing with them others.
me I just let it get the better of me. And turn in to a wobbly mess. Sorry I am not much help with that.

Possibly because for you it's got a lot riding on it at the moment? Which for many people triggers an attack of the collywobbles.
How much preparation do you need to do - plan that then put it firmly in a box for now. For tonight at the very least. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Hi Tips, lovely to hear from you (and great that you are feeling good!)
code - wooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo! :j:j:j (don't worry about it! And it's an achievement just to have got an interview)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Yay Code!!!! Well done. Is it at the old place or have they still not got round to sorting anything out?
I know it's much easier said than done but try not to doubt yourself and try to remember that even if nothing comes from this interview at least it shows that there are jobs out there and that people consider you employable - if it goes to someone else it may be nothing more than they were cheaper.
Hi Tips.
Calley, I know that stage of cleaning well!! I love your cabinet with the little drawers and cupboards (on the lefthand side). I want something like that for our hallway but, as it's not very wide, would need something quite shallow and haven't found anything yet.0 -
Yay Code!! Good news
I talked to Mr HBS last night and he said I was incredibly silly and we would have worked through it even if the worst had happened. He is a total sweetheart and I love him so much and I don't know what I would do without him
(I do have a little hangover though!)
One day till the weekend

It's with the old place. Now of course, I'm panicking that it's a horrible idea.
Hbs - I get it. I had to do an HIV test and a full STI panel as part of fertility testing and of course, I was worried about the HIV test the most, even though I was a blood donor!! :rotfl: Iirc you're a year older than me, which means that you grew up with those terrifying TV ads too and remember when it was an automatic death sentence whereas younger people don't see it is as much of a threat as we are conditioned to. Does that make sense?
Why is it that when I order some clothes, it's always the ones that I like the best that don't fit me? They're only a tiny bit off so swapping for the bigger size would be pointlessAlso I bought I lovely floaty pink dress, tried it on and looked like Glinda the good witch.

:D
Makes sense to me code - I think we're a similar age and those tombstone ads were scary stuff! Although still not as scary as the 'don't play on the railway' ones they used to show us in school. Not sure if they were just a local thing or if everyone had the same ones. I worked for a rail maintenance company for a decade and every single time I had to cross the tracks in the depots (perfectly safe, daily occurrence) I thought about those flipping films!
Great news about the interview0 -
Oh those railway ones were scary - we used to have a train crossing where I grew up and I was always really scared and made sure my laces were tied. And the power station ones too! . I also remember one about sparklers that was a bit disturbing. They liked to scare us back in the 80s.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
