Thank you for the wedding dress ideas, you're all amazing and I now have many, many things bookmarked and far more choice than I realised

Lambyr, congratulations on the competition win. That dress is lovely, I tend to like halter-necks.

MU, that's an odd reminder to pop up but I definitely think you should write to him.

    Morning my lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round. Hope you are ok WaS.

On the subject of weddings I have said in passing to Action man if we ever did get married we are having a first dance etc. he knows I hate being center of attention so is a little surprised. It would be nice but it would scare the poop out of me :rotfl:

When I got married it was a registry office with less than 15 of us than back to our tiny flat afterwards. Lots to eat and drink.

Anyway yesterday was the 1st day in I would say years that I woke up with out a bad back. No twinges all day nothing. I have never thought about the difference every day low level pain has your on mood. Today I am back to have twinges and back to feeling like a old woman. I am only 44 and it does depress me about if I feel like this now how I am going to be by the time I am in 60/70/80s if I get there.

    Yours

    Calley

My wedding was very traditional, although the ceremony wasn't religious, with all the speeches and first dances and formal meals and so on. If I were to get married again it would be in the woods at midnight, by moon and lantern light, and some battery operated fairy lights. Maybe somewhere like Fairy Glen.

I had a big (ish) traditional do the first time round. If I did every bother again (very unlikely!) I quite fancy something completely different too.... maybe an Elvis impersonator in Vegas or something like that :D
  • I am so relieved today. So very, very, very relieved.

    PENGUIN re medical tests:

As part of the tests during my pneumonia, I had to take an HIV test as sometimes it's a symptom of it taking its toll on the body.

Test was negative. Even though I knew it would be...I was terrified anyway. I'd even made arrangements to move out of my home in case Mr HBS didn't want me anymore, and to stop coaching in case the head coach decided I was a risk.

I am going to go and cry with relief now...and have several pints later.

    END PENGUIN

I'm loving the wedding talk. I keep changing my mind about what wedding I'd like hahaha!

HBS, it's completely understandable that it made you panic even though you knew there was no need to. I'm glad it was all okay though and enjoy your pints later.

HBS made me go awww and well up.

I get why you would be worried. But I am sure Mr HBS would not have kicked you out.

Well I think I have worked something out. The reason I never get anything done. Its that I am always getting back pain and twinges and its drags me down. So just go there is no point.

Have started to sort through my stuff in order to free up space for Action man so that he can put stuff in living room etc. I want him to feel that its our home not just mine. And reflects both of tastes, hobbies and lifestyle.

I do have until 1st of april. But as the saying goes. Make hay while the sun shines. Also a good way to have a spring clean and purge.

  • Mine's white and a Caravelle rather than a Transporter / pickup, but same basic model. Oh, and it's full size. And rusty :rotfl:
