I'm sure I'll enjoy it once I'm actually trying things on - I just tend to panic beforehand that nothing'll fit and they'll all be hideously unflattering
And that link's amazing, thank you - so many pretty dresses!!!
I'd tried looking at ebay but was really struggling to sort 'proper' dresses from the ones which will be made in China and look nothing like what I'd ordered...0 -
Feel like taking a punt for around a tenner? Only 2 hours to go.

(Yes, I am browsing wedding dresses on ebay for someone I have never met, don't know her size or taste, I should be doing other things, but hey, I'm having fun! & I might just hit on the perfect thing, I have once before.)Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -

I started by limiting my search to UK only. I think the barefoot idea is wonderful, so now you only have to decide on your outfit from the ankles up! Maybe tie a length of lace around your ankle? Sort of like a neck-lace, but lower down!Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -

That's very pretty but not something I'd wear.
I'm currently a size 16/18 but hoping to be a 14 by the time we go. I'm quite pear-shaped, so fishtail/very straight styles aren't going to be my friend, probably want floor-length, much prefer ivory to white and don't want anything low-backed (what is the current obsession with backless wedding dresses? I'm nearly 40 - I can't go braless!!).
Other than that I should be pretty easy to please0 -
how do you feel about lace or straps/sleeves?
This is really pretty - I know it ships from China but the reviews are good

OK so I know this is the wrong size, but it is so pretty & elegant, seriously, selling for £20? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Wedding-dress-Party-Promotions-dress-/381910954010?hash=item58ebaab01a:g:hOIAAOSw8gVX6qcO
The chosen outfit must travel well, too, and not take up too much luggage space.Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -

They're both beautiful. I'm fine with lace and I'm open to strapless, straps or short sleeves.Solarjunkie wrote: »The chosen outfit must travel well, too, and not take up too much luggage space.
That's so pretty it makes me wish even more that I hadn't eaten quite so much over Christmas
The luggage space won't be too much of an issue. As long as it's in a dress bag I can take it on the plane with me, in addition to normal hand luggage, and they'll even try to find space to hang it up.0
