Woke up to a covering of snow on the ground which was nice but it was frozen into an ice rink when I took DA dog out. Seems to have stopped snowing now and the sun is out.

No snow here yet but a bitterly cold wind.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

No snow here either, it's just very, very soggy and I'm wearing non-waterproof shoes :(

It seems like it's been forever since we last had snow where I live, if we get enough to make a small snowman I'll be very happy :D
  • Second package now updated to arrive on Monday. Third package is amazon and I could have had that delivered to work, there was no need to take a day off to wait for just that (though no sign of it yet).

Complete waste of a day off :( Very, very grumpy now.

That's really rubbish. Have you pointed out to them that you had to take a day off to wait for their non-existent delivery?

It makes me realise how lucky I am that IzHe works from home the vast majority of the time, it makes getting things delivered so much easier.
  • Rest assured, stroppy emails have been sent! Polite, but still making the point and leaving no doubt about my unhappiness ;)

That is so rubbish! I swear deliveries are getting worse these days.

My day has been cheered up by a colleague accidentally sending a comedy email. I know it's wrong of me to laugh (and I've certainly sent much worse by accident previously) but it's really tickled me :rotfl:.

One year, there was enough for me to make a small snowman, about 15" high, complete with a mini top hat made from cardboard, tiny carrot nose, twiggy arms, buttons, and a strip of knitted wool for a scarf.

I put it on the roof of my car on the front drive, (I wasn't going anywhere!), and it caused no end of merriment for the schoolchildren on their way to school! It was worth doing it, just to hear their little shrieks! :rotfl:

Have you paid extra for next day delivery? If so, you should at the very least get a refund. Small beer I know. :(

Deliveries to my home are OK but I think the dude who does Amazon deliveries fancies himself as a bit of a stud. He's afraid of DA dog which somehow ruins his swagger a bit though :rotfl:

I got my gold trophy for Portuguese today or should I say: Eu ganhou meu trofeu ouro em Portugues hoje. It does mean that there are no more new lessons though and I certainly don't feel like I know all the Portuguese, so that's a bit disappointing. Can't decide whether to find another app or learn a new language and maintain the Portuguese through vocabulary lessons.
