This is still very much my plan A :D
  • Am at home today to wait in for deliveries of big stuff that I can't get delivered to work, so I couldn't take advantage of the day off to turn my alarm off - always feels like a bit of a let down when that happens! :rotfl:. Fot up at 7.30am, none of the deliveries have turned up yet :(

I do absolutely know after the last few days that I have to leave this place before I start telling everyone just how much I hate it.
It might do some good if you did! Make management / HR aware of the effect of the workload, environment etc. on the people that do the work.

Apparently Kitty is British! (British stuff was very popular in Japan at the time.).
Her name is kitty white and she has a twin sister called mimmy they live in london they where born november 1st.

    And she has no mouth!!!!

She has a whole back story. But its claimed she is not human but not a cat either. So no idea what she is :rotfl:

  • Well, one of my "next day" deliveries is now going to be "the day after the next day", so I've told them they'll have to leave it on the driveway unsigned for, as I won't be here to accept it :(

No sign of the other two deliveries yet either. Not a very successful day so far!

That makes perfect sense and, not that I'm ever likely to be in the position of employing someone, I would far rather have someone who wanted to work there for reasons entirely unrelated to their career than someone who saw it solely as a job.

Don't forget Pebbles with her jewellery and wedding things.
And was it HBS who also made things?

Well, so far this year, despite being ill almost the whole time, I've managed to complete two of my big scary things. Dropped off the paperwork for one of them this morning........have spent 11months worrying about it and got it done in 3days this week. I surpassed my procrastination big time with that one.

Another big scary thing is half-completed.

There are more scary things to tackle...... The whole of house of doom needs sorting/clearing and I really need to organise some cupboards/wardrobes to be installed in two rooms, which will help no end.
(It's not just clutter; some of it is important papers that need to be gone through, and bulk shredding organised, as they're confidential).

Then there's the garden of doom. The good thing about winter is that the weeds don't grow much.

And if I manage to get through that, I want building work done, and then I might be able to get floor-covering put downstairs.

  • No snow, just incessant rain. Hasn't stopped since I got up this morning.

Still no sign of any of my deliveries!
