Doesn't seem to be coming here, at least not yet. *breathes sigh of relief*

Bristol is hilly and grinds to a halt when snow settles :(

My experience of Bristol is that it grinds to a halt regardless of the weather :D

Eugh.... what a long, annoying, dull day. Was up at 5, then got stuck on the motorway for ages so what should have been a 2hr journey took 5 hours. Then a truly soul-destroying day at work, followed by a night in a crappy hotel on the edge of a motorway. Tomorrow I can look forward to an hour's drive to another site, another awful day of auditing and then a three hour drive home.

I must have done something terrible in a former life!

Unfortunately, that's true! Not helped by all the roadworks for the metrobus scheme at the moment.

I don't envy you all the travelling, fingers crossed for better journeys tomorrow.

  • Woken up by the wind at 4.30am this morning, so have had a cooked breakfast (never happens in the week, I usually fall out the front door in as little time as possible from getting out of bed!) and started a load of laundry before getting to the office ridiculously early.

Could do with going home and back to sleep now, and no-one else has even arrived yet! :rotfl:

    This

is much more my world :D

Up until last month I was pretty good at getting up as soon as my alarm went off but recently I've been snoozing it/sleeping through it so end up running out of the flat with soaking wet hair, make-up in my bag to do on the way and I arrive at the station pretty much as my train's pulling into the platform.

Ono, I hope you make it through the day without falling asleep.

Tea, I hope today's journeys aren't too bad. At least you get to go home tonight.

Our family weatherman thinks that snow won't settle with us this week. Thank goodness.

I am tired. DH is on early shifts. Feel shattered before I even get to work.
