Thankyou everyone. I got home, don't think the other drivers are ere impressed as I didn't go over 50. But tough!

It doesn't matter what the speed limit is. You have to drive at the right speed for the conditions. That could mean driving at 20mph on a motorway, if there's fog.

So, if you were concerned that there was a risk of more black ice, 50 mph is plenty fast enough. Sod anyone else.

Exactly. There have been so many nasty accidents where people haven't adjusted to the road and weather conditions....it's a sign of a good driver that you recognise when lower speeds are needed.

    Evening my lovelies,

Hugs and squishes and handshakes all round. needed or not :rotfl:

Any how taking of wasmas. Guess who sent out texts saying Merry Christwas to people  Yes me I sent the first two texts and then decided to be a lazy moo and forward the sent message. Some how it went from Merry Christmas to Merry Christwas!!!

I went to cinema to see passengers this afternoon. And some bloke in front of me was using his phone on face book up until the film started. In the middle of the film he looked at face book again and then when it finished straight away. If I was with him he would have had the phone taken off him. Are people really that sad!!! If he was on call then different. Maybe its just me just don't get it.

Right have action mans parents coming around tomorrow arghhhhhhhhhh. But we are going out for tea so no cooking. yeah!!!!

Tired might think about going to bed soon.

    Yours

First and foremost, i owe you all a massive apology. I'm sorry if i have worried anyone, i'm sorry for being absent, i'm sorry for not being a very good friend.

I stopped posting because i was in a bad place and could not stop getting involved in posts on DT which was making me feel worse (havent looked at it yet and don;t plan too). I ran out of meds and ended up rapic cycling between being stupidly manic and suicidally depressed. Have felt better since being back on meds but have felt too embarrased and ashamed to show my face again on MSE. I have to admit to having been a hummingbird, i haven't posted but i do care about you and i've been trying to keep up with the thread. I just didn;t feel i could post :(

I had a good christmas, i actually got to see my family and spent time with Swain. Speaking of Swain, we really want to move in together and my plan for next year is to pay off my debts and save enough to make that possible.

Sorry need to penguin this next bit (WaS, not your fault, do not read the news)

[Penguin]I'm really struggling with Carried Fisher dying. I wwas never a Star Wars fan tbh but when i forst got diagnosed with Bipolar i googled it. One of the things that came up was the fact Carrie Fisher had it. Over the years i have read about her experiences, listened to her advice, and admired her for being a mental health advocate. It amazed me in my darkest times that someone with Bipolar could do so much, that they could achieve so much and her honesty and humour made me feel like i shouldn;t be ashamed to speak about it and that there was hope for me. I looked up to her. And i feel like there is a void now she;s gone :([/penguin[]

I feel like a really bad person for just disappearing but MSE was making me unwell. Even now i feel worried about being here but i needed to post to let you know i'm ok and that i'm thinking of you. I;ve missed you all so much :( I'm sorry i;ve missed important life events, birthday and christmas. I've been too scared to post cos i don;t trust myself not to get involved n some stupid argument on DT. Also i;ve been really stressed with work the last few weeks. Its been so busy and i havemy gelt i;ve had a minute to myself to even think about anything. This week in on nearly full time hours, i have a 9 1/2 hour shift tomorrow even though i'm not supposed to work more than 8 (cos every time i do it makes me feel suicidal) and i'm stressing out, i have to spend new year alone cos work wont pay for a taxi to Swain's and he thinks its silly to pay £30 for a taxi when i, meant to be sabing money to move out (which is true i guess).

Sorry i'm rambelling. I just, just wanted to say sorry and i hope everyone is ok. xxxx

Messed up no apologies needed. Just glad that things are better just now for you. Huge hugs.

MU, how very, very lovely to have you back on here posting (even if only occasionally). I have missed you too and I am glad that Swain and you are still as strong and considerate as ever. I shall look forward to hearing that you have moved in together when the time is right.

I would imagine your penguin person packed more into their life than the average person and will inspire your next role model. Just as you inspire us with your big heart and extraordinary ordinariness.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

    Yey!!! MU! :T :T

    (((((((()))))MessedUp))))))))))))))

    Lovely to see you!

Am so glad you're ok, despite your 'blip'.

I remember from last year how busy Christmas was for you, so became stressful. Hopefully it will die down a bit after New Year.

Is Swain not able to come to yours for New Year? If not, never mind. It's only a date! You can always join us on here at midnight!

Good idea to stay away from DT. It always amazes me how it attracts people who would rather accuse and judge than just discuss something, and who will latch onto a very minor comment and turn it into a big attack. Amazing. :( People can be very strange!

There are some fun threads in the main part of the Arms, though. You might find some of them are fun to be on.

I'm so pleased you and Swain are a 'thing'. 2017 will be a good year for you, I'm sure! Don't run out of meds again, naughty girl! :D

Anyway, now we know you're ok, don't worry about just hovering. You can be like Tinkerbell, and just leave a sprinkling of fairy dust every now and then, so we know you've been around! :)

Pebbles, I'm glad you made it home alright and, as others have said, who cares what other drivers think. I'm sure getting home slowly is infinitely preferable to not getting home at all.

(((( MU )))) No need to apologise and I'm sorry you've had a blip but glad you're getting better.
