  • Evening all! Sorry for WaS-ing up everyone's phones!

Encouraging hugs to those worried about jobs, I really hope that 2017 brings some happy solutions for you quickly.

I am still putting together a list of resolutions. They sound silly by everyone else's standards like trying to go out more than five times in a year which is all I managed in 2016 (which is horrendous especially as three were hospital appointments!) but they are difficult for me. A huge one is to give myself a break and stop blaming myself for things out of my control, I am not that powerful as dear Errata used to tell me here. I need to remember that.

    Ok WaS.

    For 2017 you need to.......

    # Visit the Llamas again

    # Visit the donkeys again

    # Visit some penguins

    # Visit MiL in her new 'home'

    # When it's warm, go to your favourite secluded beach spot again

    # Is there a sloth rescue centre anywhere near you? Google task of the day.
If not, or no zoo with one, visit a forest and kick the leaves and/or jump in a puddle.

    Later on in the year....

    # Visit the reindeer again

    # Visit Father Christmas again

Four more things of your choice.
    # Eg........ Ask a supermarket if you could go out of hours when there are no other customers there.
    # Eg......Ask a VirginActive,or similar swimming pool if you could go when there's no-one else there.
    # Eg......ask a pottery/stained glass works/jewellery-maker /artist studio if you could have a short session on your own.
    # Eg.....ask a local museum if you could have a visit out of hours.

    That's twelve things.

    One per month.

    The Twelve Tasks Of WaSmas!

I feel a carol coming on! :rotfl:

"On the first month of WaSmas, the Pyxis said to me....
You must......a llama go and see!

On the second month of WaSmas the Pyxis said to me..
Now you've seen the llamas, the......donkeys you must....go and see!"
    Etc.

    Hi peeps

Please can you send me good vibes.

I had a accident in my car this morning-hit black ice & my car decided it was a ballet dancing doing pirouettes. I hit another car, amazingly, both are ok. Both still drivable. I span about 4 times I think, I just froze, didn't know what to do. The other guy said he thought my car was going to flip.

Have had to stop half way home as I'm shaking - keep thinking my car is skidding all the time. And I'm crying, & I know it was a genuine accident, but I feel I've let my boyfriend down as it's extra expense .
Please be nice to all moneysavers!

    Pebbles........BIG HUGS,

    MORE BIG HUGS!

    Take some deep breaths.

You were right to stop and regain your composure.

Black ice is a bummer. It's invisible. You wouldn't have been able to see it, so not your fault.

The thing to grasp onto is that you are ok, the other person is ok, minor damage to both cars. Both cars driveable.

    That's GOOD NEWS!

Would it help to phone your boyfriend now and have a little weep?

    Would he reassure you?

    It's delayed shock.

    More (((((((())))))))

Just sit there until you're sure you're ok to drive the rest of the way home.

Cars are just things. Much more important that no-one's hurt.

During a skid, there's not a lot you can do. :A

It's obvious, though, that your speed was right for the conditions, else the impact would have done more damage.

That means that your instincts were good.

That means that you're a good driver. :A
