I've also collected my Christmas prescriptions and two pairs of 4EEE shoes.

A pair of velcro Mary Janes and a pair of two buckle monks.

    I like the monks.

Telly box on the blink so you can only get the 'terrestial' channels, bad gravy over cool, over dry meat, too few pillows/cushions, a pilates ball at the dinner table or in front of the telly box because you don't have enough chairs- I can't think of anything which doesn't affect you and your Mum.
    What are monks?,

    Iolites are indeed lovely!

The bisto will be quite thick. I like thick gravy. Not sludge think, but definitely not watery.
Am starting to worry about you, Lambyr! :rotfl:

You'd probably worry even more if you knew I'd just eaten two cheese toasties simply because I found a Breville I didn't know we had...

    Oh no, that's normal! :rotfl:

I've been eating loads of cheese and tomato toasties this week!

However, I make them in a silicon toastabag from Lakeland, that you just pop in the toaster, then in the dishwasher to wash!

Looked quite new. Was still in the box and everything.

Can't for the life of me remember where it came from.

    That's Christmas Day sorted then.

Turkey toasties, followed by pudding toasties.

Buckle shoes with one or two adjustable buckles with a mighty flap of leather so they don't look like Mary Janes.

Using sweet or fruited bread, you could have Christmas pudding or mince pie toasties.

    It would become a catchphrase

"Would you like a toastie?" in a bright sing-song voice as if you're humouring someone very senile or a three year old child

    I like them too.

Good morning, everyone. I slept well, considering DH has a nasty cold, but I am tired around my eyes.

It's Christmas jumper day at school so littlewing looked adorable.

Good morning everyone. We, must be the day for sore eyes, my eyes are ridiculously dry and I had to remove my contacts and wear my glasses today.

I have to do that interview /presentation this morning. I am so rubbish at presentations anyway - thanks, social anxiety - but I also seem to have lost any ability to get things into my memory without them falling out again almost immediately so I can't remember what I'm supposed to say. I don't want to be that person reading off a sheet of paper but I also don't want to be standing there with nothing to say either. Argh.
