  • I seem to be lucky as the GP I registered with says on their website they keep same day appointments available and so far every time I've rung apart from once I've been able to get one. The one time I couldn't I could get one for the next morning.

Glad it's the weekend as I'm so tired. I'm out helping at an event all day Sunday so hoping for a nice long sleep tonight as I won't be able to have a lie in on Sunday.

tea, can't you just decide amongst yourselves where you want to sit? I suppose it was easy enough for me as there are only two of us in my office and I said "I'm going there!" (right next to the radiator :D ) and my colleague was happy placing his desk where he wanted in the remainder of the room.

I'm very lucky with my GP, as I can usually get an appointment within a few days. Plus they have the telephone triage thing, where you can speak to the doctor and then they decide how quickly you need to be seen.

It might get worse, because I understand that their patient load is increasing due to overflow pressure from other surgeries.

I'm on the Patient Forum, so at least I can have my say!

:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Note to self: turn off the sodding alarm clock on the days you've planned a lie in. Especially when it's set for 6.45 am. :(

I might have done that once or twice (or quite a lot more, in fact :o), 6.30am on a Saturday morning should only exist approached from the other side!

Oh I've done that a million times..... I even forgot I had a week off work until I was sorting the car park rota a couple of weeks before ....:o:o

I must say though, I find it quite decadent to be woken up by my work alarm if I've not turned it off........ & then turning my pillow over so I get a nice cold side, & then going back to sleep ..... :)

I'm awake now, as I'm too sore to sleep because of my internal adhesions & tendons feeling like carp:mad:

I'm too restless to be in bed in case I wake my boyfriend up. He's wrung out at the mo with work & his dad waiting on cancer treatment.

In between Ironing & watching Ramsey's kitchen nightmares.... I'm trying to work out how on earth I can ensure I help my boyf & his family through this time.

I don't have either of my parents anymore, he has both. Knowing how lost I was, makes me wish I could take the pain & anguish from them all. If only there was a button to fix it all eh xx

Yes, it would be good if we all had a reset button and could go back to factory default settings! :)
