I could actually cry. How am I supposed to know what I want to do with my life? I can't even decide what to have for dinner. All I know is that every morning I have to force myself out of bed. I really screwed up by accepting this stupid, awful job. I feel like I've ruined my life.

It is a blip.

And remember that no experience is ever wasted, even a negative experience.
You now have a better idea of what you don't want, even when you don't know what you do want!

Just take one day at a time. No decisions have to be made in a hurry.

You need something to look forward to.
Is Christmas something to look forward to? If not, what about a weekend away?

Look, start preparing for Christmas. Really go for it. I know it's still early, but it will cheer you up, and then it will be done without you getting in a frazzle, and then you can enjoy it.

So order of the day is....Immerse yourself in Christmas!

And organise a weekend away as well!

Mr CP is out with his buds tonight, so I am having pizza and snuggles with DA dog.

I have tesco just add hot water chocolate flavour drink, so am slightly jealous! Particularly as I've had some fabulous hot chocolate in Italy, they really know how to make it there. Though me boiling milk in a pan rarely goes well, so I'm probably better off sticking with what I have.


Have an article from La repubblica about the election to translate for my next lesson, and our teacher wants us to write about who we would have voted for and why, which means lots of imperfect subjunctive and past conditional. I do actually enjoy doing it, but get a bit daunted thinking about it before I start :rotfl:

Se fossi americano avrei votato per "nessuna delle precedenti"
(Might be grammatically correct Italian with the right verb tenses. Or not.)

Should nessuna not be nessuno?
